The Town Clinic - Not Officially Open but already Busy!-

[ooc: Err to help the timeline a little the immediate events here happen before Phale opens the shop, for obvious reasons! Also the Clinic is not officially opened yet but there are some mice stirring about. Will set up OCD threads shortly for said mice. :D]

It had been a good night and Wilson had slept well, only hoping that Phale had also found a peaceful rest.

The young doctor was used to being up relatively early, especially when he had a patient to look in on and he would need to check on Yazoo so he began to stir not too long after the first few rays of dawn insisted on weasling their way through the blinds and into his eyes.

"Bright light...bright light..." He grumbled, in very much the same tone he'd used the morning when they'd shared a room at the B&B. Though Wilson had trained himself to be a morning person by necessity, he wasn't usually chipper, until after his first few cups of rocket fuel.

Once Wilson had finally decided to accept his fate and face the morning, Aziraphale leaned over with a soft kiss and smiled.

"Good morning, James dear," he said quietly. "I expect you'll be wanting to get ready to check in on your patient. I'll make you some breakfast while you get dressed."

Since angels generally don't have a necessary morning routine, Aziraphale slipped out of bed (after a second good-morning kiss) and headed off to the kitchen. Pajamas became trousers and sweater at some point along the way, and he put on a pot of tea and quickly put together a breakfast of eggs and toast. Then, remembering that Wilson apparently always started his days with coffee -- at least from what the angel had observed from their recent trips together -- he shook his head and switched the tea to coffee as he poured his friend a cup.

"I did," Aziraphale replied softly. He cast a quick glance at the figure Wilson made, sitting up on the counter with his coffee, and smiled. It was something new to him, this morning routine, and he rather liked it.

The young doctor didn't appear to be the naturally talkative type at this hour, and Aziraphale wasn't the naturally talkative type in general, so he let the comfortable silence settle over them as he finished Wilson's breakfast and set it on the table.

"I...don't usually cook breakfast things, so I hope this is all right."

"James dear, you know you're always welcome at the shop," Aziraphale replied, smiling as he accepted a slice of toast. "I expect it will be quiet, as most of the students are still out of town or just settling back in."

After a moment's thought, he added in a quiet voice, "It's possible that Greg may stop in today. He's promised to bring his dog by for a visit, if he had any luck in finding one yesterday."

Kadaj hasn't stirred from him silent vigil with Yazoo, sleeping in a chair in the corner of the room. He wanted to crawl in the bed with his brother and hold him close but the tubing and stuff was in his way. He didn't want to hinder Yazoo's getting better.

What materia he had, he poured into his brother to speed healing along and Kadaj hoped that meant Yazoo would be perfectly fine by tomorrow.

Kadaj took the cup gratefully and sipped at it noisly. "He's better today. Woke up early this morning to talk a little bit," he said between sips. "He can go home tomorrow?

Just as Kadaj was going to protest he wasn't hungry, his stomach lack of contents made itself known quite loudly. "We've already inconvenienced you," he said politely.

Perhaps deflection. "And we don't have the money to pay right now but Loz said he can have it soon."

Utilizing the sneak-about lessons from his hustler days, Hunter quietly slips inside the clinic and seeks out the room Yazoo is in. Pushing open the door, he's a littie surprised to see Kadaj there, although if he'd thought through the situation beforehand he shouldn't have been surprised. "Hey," he says softly, letting the door slip closed behind him.

((ooc: no hurry, evening play still is better, just tossing Hunter out there before I totally space it because...knowing me today, I would.))

When Hunter came in, Kadaj looked to the movement of the door and realized who it was. He settled back in the chair and nodded.

Yazoo was awake. A little groggy and tired but feeling much better. He saw Hunter come in and nodded to him, giving him a smile. "Hey."

Moving to the bedside, Hunter seats himself in a chair nearby. "The doctor get you all patched up? I've got a bottle of tequila with your name on it, so you have to bounce back soon." Hunter's perch on the edge of the chair says more about his concern than his flippant words do.

"'m good," Yazoo said sleepily. "Just got involved in shit that wasn't my business."

He turned when he heard Kadaj snarl from the other side of the room but shook his head at his brother before giving Hunter his attention. "You could sneak the tequila in. The doctor would never know."

Hunter shakes his head and grins. "I think you ought to be fully healed before you start swilling alcohol." He almost sounds parental as he teasingly adds, "Have you learned your lesson not to stick your nose in other people's business?"

Showers thank you weather report meant that Angel could take Sean for a walk in the afternoon and not have to worry about turning his dog into an orphan. It wasn't as nice as snow, but on the other hand it did give Sean a chance to wear his little yellow raincoat and hat.

While walking Angel noticed something that hadn't been there before: a new clinic.

Curious, he poked his head in.

"Dr. Wilson," Angel gave a small smile of greeting. He nodded down towards the puppy. "Okay for him to come inside?"

Sean immediately tried to lick Wilson's face.

"Out for a walk," Angel said. He looked around. "Saw the sign. This is new, right? I'm not that oblivious?"
