Piper approached Crowley somewhat confidently. "I saw one of the help wanted flyers and figured it couldn't hurt to apply for a job."

He grins at her, this witch. She was at the shop the night he'd trounced Belthazor.

"Ah, yes. I'm certain your housekeeping skills are above par. How much experience do you have, my dear?"

"I'm actually more interested in the chef position more than housekeeping," Piper said honestly. "I don't have a lot of professional cooking experience, but I did work at Nolita while it was still in existence."

"Nolita, well that's encouraging. Our chef personally delived a meal late at night and I haven't seen him since. Well..." he drops his glasses and scans her up and down..."best way to see if your up to snuff is to try you out. Come this way." He leads her through the dining room into the kitchen.

Piper nods and follows Crowley into the kitchen.

"All righty then, chatterbox. Here's the menu. Make me something...and impress me."

Piper chose to make something she was familiar with, glad it was on the menu. She spent the next few hours making roast pork with gratin of fennel and penne with a port giblet sauce.

Piper grinned at Crowley when she finished. "Hope that's impressive enough."

"Quite, pet. I must say...you're capable. Now, for the big question. What in the world compells you to want to work for a fellow like me?"

"You need a chef and I need a job," Piper said simply.

"You can't be all that bad to work for," she continued. "After all, you did save my life a few months ago when Belthazor was completely out of his mind. I haven't forgotten that."

"Oh, I'm quite wicked, pet. Never doubt that. But...you're charming. Not horrid to look at. Honest, and one must not overlook the fact that you make me all tingly just being close to you. If you want it, the kitchen is yours. Welcome to The Arms, Pper Halliwell." He smiles and it's almost genuine.

Piper was slightly creeped out, but she smiled anyway. "Thank you."
