Cordelia was walking through the park on her way back to the dorms from Caritas when she saw two men fighting. She was skirting her way around them when she saw a flash of platinum blonde hair that she would recognize anywhere.
"Spike? What the hell are you doing?" Cordy yelled, not even noticing who he was fighting.
Cordelia looks around the park, slightly confused. "I can't believe Spike is here, too," she muttered.
She picked up her head, looking at Logan. She had been going to berate him on how she can take care of herself, but she knew that sometimes being out in the dark in weird places is actually, well, dangerous. "Good thing I ran into you then, I guess."
"Unfortunately, yes," she said. "Was terrorizing Sunnydale for awhile. Real pain in the ass. What does he do around here? Is he still pure evil incarnate?"
Logan shrugged. "Hadn't seen him before tonight. Wait, did you call him Spike?" Logan tapped his fingers against his leg. "I heard that name somewhere recently."
"I was at the karaoke bar and he was an ass. Swung a punch at him and all of a sudden we're out here. Kind of a pussy for a vampire, isn't he?" Logan nodded in the direction Spike had run.
Cordy followed his nod and shrugged. "He didn't use to be. In fact, I thought he was pretty terrifying in the past. Maybe this Spike's from a different dimension than the one I knew was from or something."

"Oh you shouldn't have done that..."
The features on Spike begin to change as his demon characteristics come to the forefront. He lunges at Logan...
And then doubles over in pain and screams bloody murder.

"Bloody hell," he said realizing there was no way he was getting out of this without turning into a pile of dust.
And ran.

"Wait...Are you generally accustomed to fighting with people you've never met? What happened?"
