The rearranging was almost done, which Michael was glad for. Still, there was cleaning and straightening to do. It would be a busy day.

Ivanova enters the Emporium, looking sleepy, cranky, and on a mission. "Coffeemakers. Do you have them or do you know where I can get one."

Michael nods. "Center aisle. Coffee's on aisle 2, if you need some of that too."

"Thank you thank you thank you." Ivanova is not quiet in full coffee-zombie shamble, but it was close. She grabbed the one with the largest pot, then the biggest can of coffee she could find and dumped them on the counter. The Perk was too far to walk in the mornings. The kitchen at the end of the hall was too far to walk.

It was obvious that somebody really needed their coffee -- and hadn't gotten it yet. "That'll be $35.42." He double-bagged both the coffee and the coffee maker, because neither was light.

Ivanova digs into her pocket for the wad of cash Jack had left her and peels off two twenties, diving back into her pocket for a couple of quarters. "Thanks." She hefts the oversized tin of coffee. "I'll be seeing you in about a week then."

Michael hands back the change and raises an eyebrow at the timeline, but doesn't comment. Some people required more rocket fuel than others, and from the look on her face, he guess she needed quite a bit. "See you. Enjoy your coffee."

"I will, thanks, have a good day," she says politely, and begins lugging her purchases out of the store and back up to the dorms.
