Angel shifted unconfortably. He had a feeling they'd somehow slipped into talking about the relationship. That meant only one thing: he was doomed.

"Um. Okay? Whatever you want?" He tried a hopeful smile. "Sweetie?"

Most times Callisto would have trouble maintaining her level of anger when being smiled at like that, unluckily for Angel, this was not one of those times. "Whatever I want? What I want is for you to stop trying to wriggle out of our date!"

Anyone who commented on the fact Callisto could recite the entire phone message from memory was looking for a slow, painful death. "That was, uh, sweet of you. To do that."

Angel looked sheepish. "Well, you know. After the whole trying to kill him thing. I got this message I thought was from - well it was from him but it wasn't for me. I just wanted him to know I wasn't trying to scare him."
