Red is Open again

Back in the chair and ready to work, Red had finished up all the paperwork for the township he needed to, sent it out for distribution and was waiting for the return input.

Uneasy rests the head who wears the crown...or some butchered something of an arrogant quote like that.

With the cubs playing quietly (which was a surprise) in the corner, Red was working on a small rose ankle tattoo for a mainlander for the moment.

After classes Yuffie had decided to explore the town a bit more. Couldn't hurt to see what else there was. She couldn't help but grin as she stepped into the shop- ooo... shinies.

The customer having left, Red went to straighten behind the counter, occasionally playing with Castor and Pollux as they 'helped'. He heard the door open and he peered around the corner to see who came in next.

Yuffie looked up when she heard the movement from behind the counter. She totally hadn't been thinking about stealing. Totally . She blinked for a moment she she saw the red head, let out a sigh. Why should she be surpised by *anything* around here. "Hey, cool shop."

He padded around the counter to walk up to her. "Thanks!" he said with a grin and sat down, tail swishing to and fro. "I'm surprised to see you here."

Yuffie scowled at that. "What you mean by that?" Surpised to see her here? "You know who I am? Have you been talking with that creepy prinicipal?"

Nodding, Red understood. It was a common occurance in Fandom and he shrugged light heartedly. "I haven't had the pleasure of meeting the new administration at the school so there's no worry about that. But...let's leave it at I know you and not worry too much?"

Yuffie heaved a sigh. "This is another one of those weird things going on around here, isn't it? Well, since you apparently know me, can you fill me in on who you are?" She was still obviously annoyed by the lack of answers. "Gawd, this place makes my brain hurt sometimes."

"You can call me Red," he said. Smiling, he gestured for her to come further into the shop. "Yes, this place is quite unique and can be a bit overwhelming. A lot of situations will be taken with a grain of salt as 'just is'."

"Yeah, I sorta figured that out sometime in between finding out about the evil ducks, meeting my roomie the Jedi- which is apparently a diplomat with super powers or something, and meeting the Dean, who is a big Head in a Tube." Yuffie followed Red into the store. "But it's okay so far."

"Over all, the people are very nice, I've found." He leapt up on a stool, then onto his counter, his tails swishing at the now vacated stool for her to sit, if she so chose.

Castor and Pollux peeked around from behind the counter to watch the newcomer.

"Yeah, all the students I've met so far seem pretty cool. I met one who can just form fire out of no-where and another one who can make his fake arm into a blade! So, ya know, totally cool" Yuffie took her own seat, giveing a little wave to the cubs. Red seemed pretty cool for a lion/ wolf thing.

The cubs ducked back behind the counter when the girl waved at them. Red tilted his head at their sudden shyness attack. "That sounds very neat. I suppose the universe is made up of all sorts of interesting people. How do you like the school so far?"
