FTEC Hours - Friday January 20th 2006
He expected it to be quiet. Even with the excitment with Lilah yesterday, Wilson found that the clinic in town seemed to be even more a case of feast or famine than the one up at the school but due to feeling a little run down he decided quiet was a good thing.
Flipping the light from 'On Call' to 'Open' the younger doctor settled himself in behind his desk. Three days of laying around, basically sleeping for the most part had left him with a small mountain of paperwork and so, coffee at his right hand, pen in his left, he settled in to work.
Doctor is in, if you need to see him...or steal his coffee.

He pushed in the door and padded up to the desk. "Good morning, doctor!"

"Good morning, Mayor." He intoned in a hoarse voice. Coughing a little to clear his throat he sat back, dark eyes watching the Mayor move through the reception area.
"How are you doing today?"

Standing up, he moved to walk Red down the short hall, holding the door open so the Mayor could inspect the two exam rooms and then the well equiped surgery.
"Given the size of the space and a lot of the basic hookups already in the building from the previous doctor I was able to upgrade to add a lot more than I had originally anticipated. Such as x-ray and a small CT scanner."

machines that went ~ping!~but they sounded impressive. "I'm glad the building was something you could use and work with." He looked around at the insides, truly impressed. "And you say it's already seen use? I suppose that's a good thing, although unfortunate it was needed, I'm glad you were able to help."no subject
"I'm glad I could be here...and thank you, again, Mayor for being generous enough with the budget that I was able to set everything up. I think the town will benefit going forward from this facility."

"Thank you, Mayor. Oh! And I meant to tell you, I renovated the apartment upstairs. For the time being I'm living there, I hope that's not a problem?"

"Darla!" His voice was still hoarse from his flu but warm and friendly none the less. "Oh, my...what happened?" His tone quickly altered and he set the tea down, approaching her worriedly.

"Care to tell me what happened or are you also suffering from the amnesia bug as well."
He was a little rueful but not angry about it. He was getting used to treating wounds without knowing the origin of half of them. Setting a hand against the small of her back, he began to lead her down to the surgery.

"I would hope not! I certainly don't need for you to get hurt just to come avail yourself of my professional services."
He teased her gently, partly to draw her focus away from the light touch of his hands as he gently probed the shoulder she was favoring.

It occured to her that her enhanced healing might confuse James, but she couldn't worry aout that now.

"And it feels like you probably dislocated it quite stunningly." Wilson said with a wince.
"Okay...are you allergic to anything like codine or morphine?"
no subject
no subject
"This is a good thing as I fear that dislocated shoulders...hurt."
Turning back to her, he was gentle as he injected the pain killer, then...while waiting for it to work he took a mild saline solution and began to wipe down her face. Cradling her jaw in one hand, while using the other to clean and sooth the burn mark.
"I'll put a little cream
which the mun can't remember the snazzy name ofon this. It's specifically designed for burns and to help prevent any sort of scaring. It should also help make it feel better while it's healing."no subject
interestingly, even though she doesn't have a heart beating to circulate the drugsand she stretched in relief. "Oh, much nicer."no subject
"Well, I think you'll bounce back from these fairly quickly."
If only he knew how quickly!"Okay, let's see about getting this shoulder back together, shall we?"
no subject
no subject
"I...rather then we've got it back to rights."

"Mmmmm... $50.00?"
no subject
no subject
"Just don't go undoing all my good work to quickly, okay?"
no subject
no subject
"Of course, take as long as you need. Are you dizzy? Do you want something to drink?"

Smiling he moved towards the door. "Sit for as long as you want to, I'll be up front if you need me for anything."

Just in case. She had an idea for driving Angel complete
batshit insanewild with fury, and it involved transporting a human. Much easier when they weren't wiggling, and anything she did to incapacitate them might be more permanent than she'd like.Feeling much better, she headed for the sewer exit and returned to the hotel, looking for Crowley (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/547446.html?thread=21244534#t21244534).
