The Perk, Evening, So Very Much For Broadcast
Alfred chuckled to himself as he entered the Perk. He had stopped by Jeff, God of Biscuts, but hadn't wanted to interrupt the students party. They didn't need an old man hanging around and making them uncomfortable.
He ordered a cup of tea, took off his coat, and sat down, reading a novel.
[[OOC: Locked to Victor and Walter for now, unless people particularly want to watch the ruckus. When the dust clears, everyone is free to use the Perk for their needs. Won't take long, I promise.]]

"Thanks, for coming over here with me. We can go back after we get some real food. I'm famished."

When turned, he gave the gentleman a friendly smile. "Yes. Good evening. I'm a new student here."

"Walter Dornez, a pleasure to meet you," he said, extending a hand.

But Pippi was a nice neutral topic. "Yes, Pippi's a peach. How did you chance to meet her?"

Clearly, some work was needed.
"She helped me find what was left of the Mayor's Office when I arrived here this afternoon. She was quite a charming young lady," Alfred said, sipping his tea. "She tells me that you and I share a profession."

"They do, sir. And it is quite good, but what I was referring to was a special way of preparing it. Americans, I'm afraid, do not seem to have the knack for making tea."

"In fact, I might be quite pleased if you did." He had more self-respect than to attack this old guy, no matter how insulting he got.

He gave Alfred a cold look. "Isn't it, Mr. Pennyworth?"

"I wouldn't use those on you." Old man. "For one thing, I promised the principal I wouldn't use them for anything 'inappropriate'."
