The Park - Thursday Late Morning
It was cold out, brisk but the sun was shinning and Wilson was feeling restless. Lucky for him, so was Aziraphale.
They debated a walk. They debating sitting and feeding the ducks, they debating going down to the Perk for coffee and a literary debate. But in the end, they found themselves outside, on a relatively flat area of grass with a soccer ball.
"I really should get out and exercise more." Wilson commented as he tossed down the ball and then shrugged out of his jacket. Nudging at the ball with his feet, he gave it a little kick and then chased after it.
"Course, this would probably go even better if I knew anything about soccer."
[ooc: Feel free to wander across them or use the Park for your own activities!]

"What are we accomplishing here again, my dear?"
It wasn't that he didn't want to play. It was just that he had a nagging fear that it was somehow beneath his dignity. Although it did sort of look like fun.

Or since Wilson came up with the idea, which for the record, was waaaayyy beneath the angel's dignity but that was the fun of it!
"Umm...we are accomplishing getting sweaty, muddy and exercise. Now, I know it's not overly important to you but I need a good cardiovascular activity." Wilson paused and looked at Phale. "And while that is a very good cardiovascular activity...we should probably expand our horizons and play with other balls."
Smirk...and a soccar ball went flying towards the angel.

With a smile that was just a teeny bit smug, he said, "You do realize that I haven't a clue how to play this game?" Then he gave the ball a kick that sent it rolling back in the doctor's general direction.

"I do and I also realize that you're going to cheat!" He didn't sound all that upset by the prospect either.

Aziraphale moved quickly to the side to intercept Wilson as the other man tried to get past him, counting on at the least the possibility that his greater bulk would hamper Wilson even if the angel had no idea what he was actually doing.
"You haven't even tried to explain the rules, you know. I rather think that's an unfair advantage."

Wilson spun around and dribbled the ball back away from the angel, protecting it between his feet as he pointed archly at his lover.
"You do too cheat... cheat like a... like Pogo after a gingersnap cookie!" Wilson accused though he was grinning like a fiend, the cool air rising soft color to his cheeks and his dark eyes twinkled.
"I haven't explained the rules because I don't know them myself. It's a case of take ball and keep it away from the other person while trying to put it in goal. As we don't have goals...um... my ball and you can't have it."
Wilson kicked the ball and chased after it, dancing his feet around it protectively as if daring the angel to come try to take it away from him.

This aughtta be entertaining.

That's not a twinkle in the angel's eyes. It's just the light reflecting. He is absolutely not having fun. He's only playing along to be nice.
Noticing Kiki watching from nearby, Aziraphale gives her a smile and a wave, then chases off after Wilson.

"Technically speaking there are rules. I just don't know them! Except...oh yeah the important one You can't use your hands!"
Wilson tried a fancy turn to his left but the he ended up kicking the ball well ahead of himself, then got distracted by sending a merry wave towards Kiki before he stopped to realize that he was now woefully seperated from the ball with an angel bent upon 'mugging' bearing down upon it.

Setting his foot against the ball, the angel turned and looked at Wilson, challenge evident in his body language.

Not that Wilson spent large amounts of time studying Phale's body or anything. *cough*
Frowning with intense
sneakinessconcentration, Wilson considered his options. In the end he went for the straight forward approach, which involved running right at the angel and trying to kick the ball out from beneath the other man's

He might</> have accidentally jostled his friend. Just a little bit. Completely by accident.

However, it worked as Wilson was forced to take a step to the side, rather than maintain his forward
so outrunning your angelic buttmomentum. This allowed the angel to reach the ball first, which drew a competative yarp from the young doctor who scooted right on up and with one hand balanced on the angel's shoulder, he tried to sneak the ball away from the man.Really...it was probably a miracle *haha* that they didn't trip each other up!

Yes, it seemed the angel was playing more of an 'if I can't have it neither can you' sort of strategy.

With another laugh at Dr. Wilson and Mr. Aziraphale, Kiki went into the bookstore and headed for the kitchen. She had a pie to make!
