Ye Rare Old Book Shoppe
The snow really was coming down hard now and after a quick slog down to the FTEC to check in with Tommy and pick up paperwork, Wilson slogged back up to the shop and helped Phale open it for the day. Neither angel nor mortal were sure if Kiki would be able to fly down in this weather and Aziraphale really hoped that his young employee would be sensible with her safety.
As for the shop itself, the door was unlocked for anyone who might happen by and want to stop in to get warm, have some tea or take shelter from the storm for a bit. Wilson was settled down in the lounge with his laptop and other papers, working diligently on his journal article while getting a hell of a sugar rush from a breakfast that consisted of left over apple pie and butterscotch candies. Aziraphale was somewhere in the shop, busy pulling all theOMGSMUTBOOKS adult reading material off the general shelves to be kept in a safer location.
Pogo stood by the window, his little paws resting on the glass was he watched the snow with a mixture of baby ferret inquisitveness and a hint ofJuliet wistfulness as he waited to see if his Romeo master in mischief was going to make it today.
Come in, say hello, get warm, pet Phale'spocketweasle(tmKiki) ferret. It's a perfect day for tea, cocoa, a fire in the fireplace and a good book.

The Lounge
Just don't sit on the doctor working on a paper on the couch.
Re: The Lounge
"Oh Jiji, shush," she admonishes. "I carried you. You didn't even have to walk."
Re: The Lounge
"Kiki!" He called out cheerfully. "You made it in. We were worried!"
Re: The Lounge
After hanging up her things, Kiki pauses to check the ledger on the counter to see if there has been any business today - as she had predicted, there has not. She also notes that OMGTHEBOOK has been removed - so she won't be able to smuggle it to Lana, after all. And really, her whole reason for stopping at the counter is to check the ledger, not the OMGBOOKOSMUT. She would be shocked if anyone suggested it.
She comes into the lounge and pours a cup of hot chocolate. "Second one today," she grins, raising the mug.
Re: The Lounge
"Just so long as you were careful, Kiki. Aziraphale is not going to want you risking your safety."
We will not discuss where the OMGBOOKOSMUT has ended up because it certainly did not end up on the nightstand table upstairs by the bed. Nope, not at all...certainly not and it is in no way laying open to a page. Nupe.
Wilson sipped his tea and then remembered. "Oh! I finally got some pie. Kiki that was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for baking it."
Re: The Lounge
It is a lucky thing Kiki has never heard of the teen movie "American Tart," because then she would never be able to make or eat an apple pie ever again, especially after glimpsing that OMGBOOKOSMUT which she has firmly put out of her mind. Firmly. "Firm" as in "absolutely and completely," not as in... um. Nevermind.
"I'll probably save myself the trip to and from the school, and just head to Caritas tonight to meet up with the girls - assuming it's still open! It's really astonishing how much snow is coming down."
Taking another sip of her cocoa, she looks over at Wilson's computer. "What are you working on, if you don't mind my asking?"

"Blair?"
Re: The Lounge
"...so I thought I'd say hi and hang out till I saw Ivanova going to Wonka's." Blair grinned. "Although I'll be really bummed if I trekked down here and she doesn't show. I am not a fan of the cold. Or wet. Or wet and cold together."
Re: The Lounge
"Come on in, the fire's going and you can see the street from the armchair. We've got cocoa and tea and some other treats, would you like something?"
Wilson leaned against the door frame and waited as Blair continued to unpeel himself.

Re: The Angel - Aziraphale
"James dear," he calls out, heading into the lounge.

Sigh. Poor little ferret.

Re: Pogo - The Ferret
Scampering through the lounge, he runs across yummycookieman's feet (just because he can) and skids to a half next to Jiji, chittering happily.
Jijimorning! Coldwetstuffoutside! Cookies?
Re: Pogo - The Ferret
None yet, but I imagine we can get some soon, Jiji replies. He tugs a piece of toilet paper out from under the couch that Kiki had missed during her clean-up of the lounge following their festivities the day before and drapes it over Pogo's nose with a grin.
