The Cat Business Office, Friday
"Oi, Baron!"
"Yes, Muta?"
"It's snowing."
"I'm aware of that, Muta."
Muta turned away from the window, revealing a total wall of white. "Did you know that we were just snowed in?"
The Baron sprang up from his desk and paced to the window. Indeed, it appeared that they had been snowed in. He jumped onto the balcony to see if the outside world was still accesible from the window, but when he opened it, a solid wall of white. The snow couldn't be that deep, but it must have drifted, piling up against the small building. The Baron jumped back down.
"Hmm. This may prove troublesome."

Tex really wasn't sure if this was part of the mayor's job but leaving the people like this seemed to be bad publicity. Maybe she'd get a reward.
"Anyone in there?" Tex shouted.

"Oi! It's the loud ones!" he said as he heaved himself to the window to watch the big unveil. "Stomping all around in their big boots, upsetting a cat's calm."
"Muta, the concept of calm is one completely alien to you."

"It's clear now," Tex called out as she moved to the door. Well, it was clear for a moment, already a new layer of snow was forming on the just cleared path.

"Tex," she replied, definitely not used to people bowing. Especially not cat like people, but after Red she wasn't as surprised as she could have been.

Muta finally deigned to appear. He filled the doorway behind the Baron, but didn't step out. No shoes, you see. He glared equally at the snow, the troopers, and Tex. "Baron, they've ruined the shop. Clumsy humans."

"Please forgive my friend," the Baron apologised politely. "He really is . . . well, he isn't as bad as he makes himself out to be. I called him in when things in town seemed to be getting out of hand." He nodded at the clonetroopers. "Since it seems that order has been restored, I will send him home as soon as I can detach him from my larder."

"You're talking about me!" Muta called from inside the Baron's pantry. "And you're out of custard!"
