Weather Update - Saturday - through mid morning FH time
The blizzard continued to rage all night long. But, once again, come morning the winds died down. Unlike Friday though, the winds continue to die until they stop completely around mid morning.
The snow, however, continues to fall. It is also much colder than it has been throughout the whole storm. The temperature hovers around 25 F (-4 C) all day. Until the winds stop at about 10am, the wind chills make going outside a very dangerous proposition.
Down in the town, there is between three and four feet of snow clogging the narrow streets. Apocalypse Avenue is about the only road that has been blown clear by the winds. The power remains out.
