Blood Gulch Arm - Monday

Tex reclined in her seat and looked out of the window. The snow was gone now and it seemed town was safe from snow monsters. She kinda wished it had been zombies because that sounded a lot more dangerous than water based monsters. If she was a type to admit things, Tex might say that she was a little impressed by how good the kids up at the school had managed to stay alive. She wasn't however and just hoped that the mountie and the girl with plaids remembered to return her weapons or things might have to get ugly. But not as ugly as The Grunt sitting across the street wearing a maroon scarf.

There's a new sign:

Shooting range with moving targets:
$25 per hour

((Shop lay out and supplies can be found here.))

Agatha walked in and looked around. She was slightly taken back by a completely empty storefront, but from the sign on the shop she assumed this one sold weapons.

"Good morning" she nodded to the figure clad all in armor. Agatha was unsure if the armor was a person wearing it, or just animated armor. She had seen this person at the gym this weekend though, and on posters around town.

"My name is Agatha Clay, and i am just going around and meeting folks in Town."

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Agatha smiled. She deduced that there was a person inside the armor after all.

"Thank you. It is a lovely town."

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"I just meant it was pretty. Are things like the snow monsters a regular occurrence?" She got the feeling that this person did not actually want her in the store.

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"There are zombies and vampires? Right. I will stock up on holy water and make sure the flamethrower works." Agatha nodded with conviction, as if she had fought both these things before, successfully.

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 07:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Agatha looked at Tex with perplexion. "What is a water pistol? I have a pump-activated propulsion system for holy water from teh last time i needed it, i believe it is still in order. Is what you speak of similar?"

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Agatha looked carefully over the specs. "Hmm... I might need to pick one up just to take it apart and see how it works. Which is more complex?"

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"Alright. Then i think i should buy that one. I simply must know how it is put together. So compact, and with such promise of power."

[ooc: i have no clue what agatha's finances are. i am assuming she got sent here with money though, so i am going to assume she can afford this.]

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"I suppose." She really did just want to take it apart. "It might be useful to know how it is supposed to work after all."

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
"Good, but you are right, i should try it." She smiles again, as really, she has a sunny disposition. "Lead the way?"

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Agatha raised an eyebrow at the word Tex said, but followed her to the door and went in.

If one had ever seen a small child in a bright and shiny candy store, that is what Agatha looked like inside that room. It wasn't that she liked weapons. No, she simply liked gadgets. Of all kinds. The more strange and complex the better.

"Oooh." Really, that was all she could say as she looked around in glee.

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Agatha, still looking around, followed.

"Depends who you compare me to, i suppose. Not as good as Zeetha, better then Krosp." She grinned picturing the big white cat trying to shoot things.

"I can hit a moving person from a descent distance, though not always in the place on the body i would wish."

Agatha held the gun that she omg has been holding all along steadily and aimed, following the zooming ball.

Her first shot missed, and she hissed. The second shot hit, as did the third one.

After she was certain that she could hit the ball, she shot again, not bothering to aim this time but carefully watching the gun as it fired.

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh yes." Agatha tore her gaze away from the gun to look at Tex. "It is lovely, and i anticipate many hours of taking it apart and seeing how it works. I wonder if i can improve it..."

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-30 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Agatha nodded. "Alright, i will take it. Shall i pay you?"

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-31 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
"The duck?" She watched Tex shut down the zooming ball. "There is a duck?" She reached into her pocket for her wallet.

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-31 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, i see." She didn't but you bet she would now look fora duck outside.

[identity profile] heterodine.livejournal.com 2006-01-31 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
Agatha counted out the money and handed it over to Tex. "There you go." She smiled. With her new purchase in hand she waved sunnyly to Tex, and walked out of the store, where she did indeed see a duck. Wearing a red scarf. She shook her head and went on her way. There were many other things to see in town, and really a duck was not so surprising after all.

After 3rd Period

Pippi arrived at the shop with ruck sack on her back.

"Good morning... um. I'm sorry, I never did catch your name, did you throw it?"

She takes off the ruck sack and produces the M6D (http://static.flickr.com/42/92279466_4ca3172dd9.jpg?v=0) and the clips. If she checks the ammo, she would discover it has not been fired.

"You're name." said Pippi.

"Thank you very much for the loan of the gun. I ended up not needing it, since you mentioned in your announcement that shooting them just slows them down, we just douced with with flame-able stuff and set them on fire. That' worked very well..."

"And it was kinda pretty."

Pippi holds her hand out.

"Hi Tex, I'm Pippi."

The fact that Tex is not taking her had does not seem to faze Pippi in the least. She continues chatting with her arm stuck out.

"So... What else do ya got? You sell weapons if I'm not very much mistaken," she said turning her head this way and that looking around the store.

"That would be the sign out side which says 'Blood Gulch *Arms*'... Did you get bought out this weekend?"

It's possible that she's leaving her hand out there because she's forgotten.

"They do in Utaland." she said, "And I heard here in America, dead people get voted into office."

Pippi was craned her neck to get a better look at the brochures. You could almost hear the wheels in her head turning.

"... Do you have something concealable that can be mounted on a small boat?"

Pippi took the brochures in the hand she'd been holding out all this time, looked at them, and then was very quite for a moment.

"... I was thinking a swivel gun but..." she flipped one of the brochures over to look at the back. "...Shiny."
