The Fourth Sin - Saturday Night
Becky was slouched behind the desk, a beer in hand.
She was seriously entertaining thoughts of going back up to her room and hiding, Miho's wrath about a wasted night of patronage be damned.

Becky wasn't going to talk more than she had to. Not going to risk singing again.

GOB listened to the rest of the message. "Well, your message makes more sense now."
The smile returned. "But you lied! 'Oh, GOB, I don't miss you!'" he said while doing a very poor imitation of Becky. "Next thing you know, you're at my yacht, telling me how much you want me."

"I hate everything."

At that point, GOB placed a card (http://pics.livejournal.com/peter__parker/pic/000048y6) face down on the desk. It was still on his side of the desk, so Becky would have to reach over to grab it.

And then she threw it at him.
"Go away."

"Seriously. Go away. I was forced to sing. And I didn't mean any of it anyway."
She paused.
"Except the parts aboout having good aim and killing you dead."

When he reached the door, he turned around for a moment. "By the way, the Mountie stopped by my place earlier. He was singing, too. He actually told me that if I wanted you, he wasn't getting in the way. Crazy day for songs." GOB was grinning way too broadly for his own good.

But the poor wall had already taken too much abuse.
"I'm not up for grabs, you know. I kind of have a say in this."
