Wonka's Sweets Shoppe - OPEN

The shoppe is open, and Tonks is, for the first time in awhile, out of the lab. She's sitting in the picture window, looking somehow in place among sparkly pink Valentine's Day decorations. And worrying. Just a little.

"So... what type of chocolate do you have?" Orlin asks, browsing the lollipops section.

Tonks might've laughed. "Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, chocolate that'll last hourse..." she catalogued.

Orlin could have drooled. but he didn't.

Tonks grinned, "See anything you like?"

"I think the better question is 'do i see anything I don't like." Orlin replied as soon as he pulled himself together. But he didn't drool, at all, anywhere.Not one bit.

Tonks might be wondering if this conversation was hinting at naughtier things. But she doesn't say...

Orlin was totally only talking about the candy, he hasn't really noticed the salesperson yet. "What would you suggest?" He asked, gazing around in awe.

"Personally? Bubblegum flavored jelly beans. The cool thing about them is that you actually know what you're going to get." Most of the time.

"Iws thinking more along the lines of chocolate," Orlin explained. Turning to see who was telling him what to try.

"There's truffles charmed for happiness and good luck..."

"Not just regular yummy chocolates?" Orlin asked hopelessly. "Just nice, delicious, chocolate?"

"Oh, fine." She agreed with a laugh. "There's a rather large selection of just normal chocolate."

"Different flavors, big little, yummy chocolates?" Orlin asked. And then blinked. "I'm orlin, your friendly neighborhood chocolate addict." He grinned impishly.

"Excellent!" She gave a crude approximation of a mad scientist's chortle.

"We have whatever you can think of." She grinned, nodding towards the far wall, which was filled with everything from Wonka Bars to chocolate sculptures.

Orlin looked as if he had found the Holy Grail of chocolate. He walked as though a zombie towards the chocolate display.

The Baron strolled into the shop because OMG Ivanova's all unconscious and dreaming about Tonks and can't be here and was almost overwhelmed by the pink and red and the magic in the air. This seemed to be a place where he could fit in.

"Hello?" he called uncertainly.

"Wotcher!" Tonks called from her perch, glancing up as the Baron entered.

"Ah, good day, madam," the Baron replied, tipping his hat to her in greeting. "I almost missed you, you look very festive."

"Thanks," she replied, her mind clearly on something - or, rather, someone - other than the present.

The Baron was suave. Oh so suave. And gentlemanly. So he frowned in concern. "My dear? Are you alright?"

"Quite!" She answered, pushing all thoughts of a certain dark-haired girl from her mind.

"Is there anything you see that you like?" She smiled disarmingly, tugging at the hem of her t-shirt, totally in no way turning up the charm.

"I am afraid I cannot see very much," he said wryly, from his vantage point of all of a foot and half tall. "You wouldn't happen to have anything involving catnip, would you?"

"Actually," she said with a grin, "We do. They're gummies. Can you - are you able to, I mean - eat those? For the record, have your parents talked to you about catnip?"

The Baron laughed. "I was created by a human. I had to learn the dangerous of catnip on my own. Part of a wild and short youth. I will be careful. And gummies would be delicious. I find that chocolate disagrees with my digestive system."

"Sounds great," she says, reaching for a shelf fairly high above the counter. "We had to keep these up here - there's a lot of cats on this island." She warned solemnly. "It could lead to gang wars, and shooting hookers on the street. Not that that happens in Fandom, but it could."

The Baron jumped onto the counter to make it easier to pay. "A frightening thought, madam," he replied, just as gravely. "I shall be careful to guard my . . . stash."

She nodded seriously and rang him up with a solemn countenence, reporting the price dutifully.

The Baron produced a neat roll of bills from somewhere and counted them out correctly, the money looking far too big in his wee little paws, paying just as solemnly. "Thank you, madam."
