So he kept post poning this until the last minute and now he kinda urgently needs to get that Music interview done. He blames it on the fact that it's not easy to talk to someone you shot.

"Yo, Mayor Tex."

"So..." Cameron clapped his hands together. It wasn't so much as a deathwish as him willing to go to the armour chick who might sorta hate him in order to get his homework done. "About that interview you agreed on doing."

"It really won't take that long," Cameron said, getting more than bit nervous. Maybe he should have interview Faithful or something instead.

When that didn't get much of a response either, he took a deep breath. "It will be good PR?"

"You're not really the talkative type, are you?" Cameron sighed. "Okay, I'll try to keep this really short." And with a bit of luck, he might actually live through the entire thing.

"Uh, where exactly do you come from?"

Cameron looked confused, not sure what Tex wanted. Finally, he took her hand and shook it.

Great and he was already broke. Cameron dug out his wallet and handed Tex 20 bucks. "So?" He asked, looking hopeful.

"Seriously? You're not some sort of alien?" Cameron gaped at her.

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"Okay. Okay," Cameron said quickly. "Fine. What sort of music do you have in the 26th century? Are there still different genres like we have nowadays?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ping plonging?" Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to interview the chick in armour about music. Cameron shook his head. "So you mentioned guitars. Are there any other instruments that get used a lot?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"So pretty much the instruments we use now too?" Cameron frowned. "Wait, someone wrote a song about you?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
"Uh..." Cameron blinked, but quickly nodded. It was probably best not to argue with Tex. "So, any chance I could hear this song? Just to get an idea of 26th century music?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Cameron blinked as he listened to the song. "That's err... Kinda, yeah. Interesting topic. So, what sort of occassions do you play this for?" He might be kinda nervous now.

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
"Right," Cameron took a step back. "So what do you call this genre? And how about other music, where does that get played? Like, are there special occassions when you play a particular kind or something?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Right," Cameron tried to write it all down but frowned. "Ho-Ho Country?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 07:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Cameron gulped and nodded. "Right, I err... That's not exactly my cup of tea. To each their own and all that. I'll be leaving you, thanks for answering my questions." He quickly backed out of the shop.

Tex didn't say anything and just watched him leave.
