Lilly grabbed Veronica's hand and dragged her over to a booth in the corner, so that she could grill Veronica appropriately, and spare her public embarrassment, at least.

"S - P - I - L - L."

Veronica rolled her eyes, but she knew this conversation was inevitable.

"He took me to New York for dinner and then surprised me with tickets to a Broadway show," she said.

Okay, Lilly will play this game.

"Veronica," she huffed. "Where did you go for dinner? How was it? Was the waiter cute? What show did you go see? Did Logan totally hum the words under his breath, outing himself as a musical freak? Do you want to cut me off, any time now?"

"We went to *handwave* which was really nice. I didn't pay attention to the waiter, because, hi, Logan all dressed up? We saw Wicked and no, Logan did not hum under his breath. I, however, bought the soundtrack because it was incredible."

She grinned. "Happy now?"

"Maybe..." she trailed out, giving the NPC barista type a look that meant she needed a few more minutes.

"So, what did you do, you know, after?" she said, not at all fishing.

"Hung out in his room," she replied without blushing.

"With clothes on?"

"Clothes were on..." Veronica said vaguely. Well, it was half true. They were on... the floor.

Lilly flat-out rolled her eyes. "... and then, not so much?"

"... no?" Veronica admitted, hoping Lilly wasn't going to be upset. This was still kind of weird for her.

"So, you did do him! Oh my god, fiiiiinally."

"What do you mean finally? We haven't even been back together for a month!"

"The magic words being 'back together'. That's like... all the fun of getting back together. You get to start having sex right away."

Lilly shook her head. "I need to write these things down for you, don't I?"

"We never did it before, so we would we start right away?" Veronica asked, rolling her eyes.

"Do I really need to answer that? You just had sex with him, you know the answer now!"

Okay, now she was blushing a little. "Come on, Lilly. You know my experience with that subject before. And Logan knew, too, which is why he didn't push it."

Lilly's still not quite comprehending because it's a little beyond her, but she doesn't want to upset Veronica.

"So, was it worth the wait, or what?"

"I guess," Veronica said, not really wanting to get into details.

"You don't want to talk about..." Lilly said rather bluntly.

"Okay, that's cool. I actually have to run anyway. But you know you can, talk to me about stuff, right?"

"Yes I know," Veronica said. "I'm just not big on talking about that kind of stuff at all, you know? It's nothing personal."

She stood up. "Walk back to campus together?"

"Totally," she said, grabbing her stuff and giving Veronica a smile.
