The Park, Wednesday
Geoff is sitting on a bench in the park, tossing a tennis ball for Cash to chase, and occasionally people-watching. He's solemn, but thankfully not too terribly emo.

Willing to talk to Geoff
"Cash?"
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
Grinning, Geoff raises a hand at the young man. "I'm guessing you two are acquainted?"
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
He looked up and smiled. "Yeah, I hung out with him at the clinic a few times. Oh!" He looked around excitedly. "Is Dr. House here?"
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
Cash squirms excitedly and tries to lick Blair's face.
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
He turned back to Geoff. "That's too bad for Dr. House, he loves Cash. So how is Dr. House going to get him? Is he coming back here? Or are you going to take Cash to him?"
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
"I'm supposed to deliver him. It was hard for Greg to leave him behind, but I promised I'd look after him for a while."
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
He looked up at Geoff for a minute. "That was nice of you, man. I'm glad Dr. House has good friends like you."
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
Cash bolts out into the park toward the ball, getting distracted for a moment by the ducks before he remembers what he was doing and trots back with his prize.
Re: Willing to talk to Geoff
He patted Cash and then tossed the ball back across the park.

Smiling when she sees him off in the distance, she takes long strides to reach him quickly and throws her arms around him from behind.
"Mon poet...I truly am a bad influence, arent I? Filled you with wanderlust after just one ride?"

Cash looks up from where he'd been lying next to Geoff's feet watching people, and wags his tail at CJ.

Kissing him lightly on the forehead, she lets go and steps around to sit beside him.
"Nice dog. So..."
It hangs in the air, words she is getting so tired of saying, nd she leans against him.

Geoff puts his arm around CJ's shoulders. "It's Greg House's dog. Cash. Greg left him here with me for a while. I'm supposed to try and return him, but I don't know if it's going to work out. I'm...I have a strong feeling it's not."

Snuggling into his embrace, she rests her head on him.
"I'll miss you, you know."
no subject
Sighing, Geoff leans his head against hers. "I'll miss you too." Then he chuckles and says, "Maybe I'll write something for you, and it'll turn up next week in some old bookshop somewhere. And you'll find and know it's for you."
no subject
She smirks and tips her chin up to look at him.
"Do you think I'll ever see you again?"

Looking away, he closes his eyes.

He reaches down to scratch under Cash's chin. "Have you met Cash before? He's Greg House's dog."
Re: Bothering Geoff
Re: Bothering Geoff
Cash gives a soft woof at the sound of his name and wags his tail again. Laughing, Geoff says, "I'm guessing that either means 'Pleased to meet you' or 'Throw the ball'."
He cocks his head at Tonks. "Is Susie your dog?"
