Pippi flounced into the shop, she looks very animated and she has her laptop under her arm.

"Good morning Agatha! I'm very soory I haven't come by sooner... We had a little difficulty on Monday and well... Oh! Is that my food thingy?!"

"Hello Pippi. A difficulty? I hope everythign is alright." She had heard somethign on the radio about robots. She hoped it wasn't any of her bots.

SHe nodded at the question. "It is indeed. It is pretty much the way we discussed earlier. The dry ice goes in here. I am usingthe sawdust a sinsulation to make it extra effective. The gas canister is in this compartment. Be very carefull lgihting it. When yo uare done using it for the time being, turn this valve to 'off'. Always store it in the 'off' position. This unfolds to make a prep area and expose the burner. Here you have compartments to store things." She opened all the little nooks and cranies and showed Pippi all the ways the machine worked.

Pippi is delighted.

"This is all so wonderful!" Says Pippi, already coming up with a pattern for a protective cover to make from left over canvas for it.

"What do I owe you?" she asks taking out a small bag of golden coins (http://static.flickr.com/38/84032178_1db44bdc9e_o.jpg).

"I am glad you like it." Agatha punched some numbers into the cash register, which announced the *handwaved* amount in apleasant tone, lookign at Pippi with it's eyes. THe register extended a hand to Pippi for the money.

Pippi isn't sure how many gold coins equil *handwaved amount* but she thinks it could be three or four of the small ones.

She starts to count four gold coins out trusting that it will stop her when she's done or leave its hand out if she isn't.

Agatha raised an eyebrow at the coins. "I am nto sure hte register is going to know thier value. Hmm... What are they?"

[ooc: wish agatha had her internet set up she coudl look up value of gold and weigh it]

"Pirate treasure!" Answered Pippi.

"Um... Perhaps now is a good time to introduce you to the internet? I'm sure we could find something about what it's worth there."

[[ooc: Pippi does, and I've already established that she has her lap top with her. Huzzah!

"Oh, that would be wonderful. I have not set up my computer yet, do you know anything about that? It says it has instructions..." If they could find out how much an ounce of gold was worht, Agatha had a scale. This would be useful.

She brought the box the laptop came in, still sealed, from the back room.

"Alright. Here it is." The box proudly said 'Dell' on it.

Pippi placed her laptop on the counter, it said "vaio" on it. She opened it up and hit the power button.

"Okay well the fist thing Tommy had me do was to take it out of the box and plug it in!"

"Alright." Agatha opened the box, and removed teh laptop, the power cord, the instructions, the box of CDs, the manuals and soem promotional literature. She looked at hte pictures of happy peopel with thier laptops and put that aside.

"Alright, plug it in you say. Well, the outlet is here, but the cord is not attached." She looked at hte endof the cord that was clearly NOT the one that went into the outlet and then at hte laptop. Spottinghte similarly shaped hole i ntehlaptop she attempted to plug it in there.
"I think it connects here?"

"Yes, just like mine." Pippi pointed out a similarly shaped outlet on her own laptop. "But Tommy said to be careful with power cords for computers made by different companies. After you let is suck power from the wall for a while, you'll be able to use it without plugging it in for a short time... That's like a big thing, stuff that works with your computer that doesn't use wires."

"Oh, that is useful. It becomes portable that way. Huh." Agatha was impressed. She finished plugging the machien in and looked expectantly at Pippi. "Now what? Shoudl it start doing something?"

Pippi looks at Ag's laptop and finds the power button.

"That symbol (http://static.flickr.com/12/13982966_00cd8a4b42.jpg?v=0)," she says pointing at the button, "means that is where you turn it on. Push that. You don't have to hold it down, just poke it."

Agatha nodded and pressed the button. This thing was made of thesame lightweight material that the Robopet was made of, adn she had already learned with the Robopet that the material was a bit brittle.

She watched the start-up screens change and was slightly startled by the noise the machine made. Then the things asked her for a username and password.

"Um?"

[ooc: we should so handwave this, otherwise i will be reliving my horrid techsupport nightmares...]

Pippi *handwave* guided Agatha through setting up her computer without very much difficulty, though they did consult the manual.

"Okay," she said, "Now let's see if we can find the value (http://wallstreetwindow.com/goldprice.htm) of these coins (http://coins.search.ebay.com/gold-coin_Gold_W0QQcatrefZC12QQcoactionZcompareQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQfromZR10QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQsacatZ45134)!"

"Agatha was highly impressed withthe power of ~~cheese~~the internet. "THere are so many different coins there... Which ones are like yours?"

[ooc: which ones ARE like hers? i am assumign hers are old? the dutch 1 gram coins are 75 or so, want to go in that viscinity? or we coudl totally handwave it and stuff. your choice]

Most of Pippi's coins do look very old but she does have a number of newer ones that she may have been given at some point as "change". [[ooc: including a number of the dutch 1 gram coins]]

"I have a few of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/2-DUTCH-1-GRAM-GM-24K-PURE-999-GOLD-COINS-BULLION_W0QQitemZ8390265091QQcategoryZ39484QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)." she says.

Agatha peered at the picture and the price, jotting it down. "Alright, so this says that these coins are one gram, and they are worth seventy five dollars each. That means that you should give the register *handwave number* of them, and it will give you change." The register clicked and displayed some numbers.

"You should remember this, next timeyou need to pay someone with these, you can tell them what the conversion is."

"Hmm, yeah, I guess that's true."

Pippi pays out *handwave number* of the coins to the register.

The register hands her back several bilsland some coins, and then puts the goldcoins into itself and sighs contentedly. It is happy with it's new aquisition.

Agatha meanwhile has been looking up sprockets on eBay.
"This is so fascinating. People just sell things here?"

"Yeah, Tommy calls it 'the yard sale that never ends'."

"THat is so... useful. What else is on this thing? How does it work? Can i find books on there?" Agatha was tryignto determine the scope of this 'internet'.

"On the computer or on the internet?" Asked Pippi.

She shows Agatha things like Amazon and Google as well as various *handwavy* programs on the computer itself until she has to scamper off for the 3rd period midterm.

"Thank you Pippi, you are wonderful! If you ever need anything, anythign at all, jsut ask, alright?" She grinned and waved as Pippi left.

"Thanks! I'll let you know!" She waved as she hefted the cooking rig and flounced off.

Victor came in and looked around for the shopkeeper. "Agatha?"

Agatha surfaced from deep within hte internet, where she had been ever since Pippi left. "Oh hi Victor! What's up?"

"Hey, I forgot to mention something when I came in yesterday. I'm gonna be on this trip to Europe from Saturday to Wednesday, so whenever we do the transfer next week, it has to be either on Thursday or Friday. Sorry about that."

"Oh alright, i can do that." Agatha had no issues withtat, as it gave her mroe time to work on her other projects.
