Empire Records and Bidet [3/9]
You would think that after spending all that time in England that Marty would be listening to some sort of indie English band.
Instead he's gone in the other direction and is playing the best of Johnny Cash.
What? Johnny Cash is cool.

How better to spend them than stocking up on music guaranteed to irritate parents?
"Hi, Marty," she said, leaning across the counter for a quick kiss. "So you guys don't still sell cassettes, do you?"

As she continued to pick through them, she glanced up. "So do you have plans for while I'm out of town?"

Marty picked through a couple of cassettes looking for anything interesting before adding with a small grin, "Or I'll just mope around the dorm until my girlfriend gets back."

She selected cassettes of Nine Inch Nails and Hole to add to the Sonic Youth, then (after a final paw through the bin) looked at the counter. "I wonder if Mr. Giles is in his shop today?" she mused.

He gave her a smile and looked into her eyes. "I know it's only for a couple of days, but I'm going to miss you like crazy."

Marty held on to her tightly for a minute or two, enjoying the neck-kissy and the scent of her hair before bending his head down and giving her a lingering kiss.
"I love you," he whispered in her ear.

Angela walked backwards until she hit the door to Empire Records, just to keep staring at marty as long as she could manage.

Marty watched her walk out the door and then probably watched her walk towards the bookstore until she was out of sight.
