The Fourth Sin--OPEN (Tuesday)
Jarod was relentlessly checking his e-mail, hoping for a response from Angelo, Sydney, or someone who recognized the picture of his mother. None seemed to be forthcoming.
More than a little frustrated, he picked up a used copy of Atlas Shrugged and began to read.

He paused, strangely reluctant to mention this next part; his mother wouldn't be just his anymore. "And, I, er, posted a picture of my mother on the internet."

Then, because he was incapable of leaving himself partway out of the hole where Parker was concerned, said, "Because, you know, I've been thinking, and doing some reading, and it looks like slow's got a lot to recommend it." It wasn't like he worked weekends, after all.

Then she parsed that response, and palmed her face. "I meant, soon. As in, within the next week, damnit. I've been wanting you for two months, I'm going to snap! I'll probably take out a bank or a major institution when it happens!" Sighing, she muttered, "It doesn't even have to be the whole ballgame, damnit, just more than kisses and cuddles and getting more and more worked up..."

or was listening in from some shrubbery or on an extension. He chuckled. "Don't commit a felony, Parker. We'll figure something out.""Wait, ballgame?"
