The Perk, evening

Jaye likes the Perk. They have coffee at the Perk. They have triple shots of espresso that they're more than willing to put in a large drink.

Of course, this could backfire. She could end up crawling the ceiling without having to dance first tonight, but at least she'll be awake.

The whore steps up to the counter, ordering a small vanilla latte, and taking a seat at a table while she waits for her coffee.

Jaye, frowning at her coffee for not being caffeinated enough, gives a little nod, as one does in a coffee shop.

Jaye stares at the whore's shirt, wondering what the significance is here. What, does she only have one implant or something?

The whore looks at Jaye, then looks down at her shirt. "Um."

"Sorry," says Jaye, looking away from the shirt. Seriously.

[fates_jaye]

"It's okay. I'm used to it," says the whore.

Jaye just nods. And wishes she could blame it all on sleep deprivation.

The barista calls the whore's name, and she gets up to get her coffee. "Later," she tells Jaye, and heads out the door. Taking her shirt with her.
