Jarod wasn't sure exactly what to do with Caritas this evening. He stocked extra cookies and milk, as well of a stack of picture books (the Curious George ones were his favorite, though he was a bit confused by the Man in the Yellow Hat). He also stocked an extra supply of alcohol, in case people were back to normal.

Or in case he had to deal with a bunch of kids by himself.

Sam sat quietly at the bar, working on a very large Long Island Iced Tea.

"Hey, Sam. How's your day gone?" Parker's a bit better now, and ready to kick back.

Parker walked in wearing Chanel, her make-up perfect, and yes, those are three-inch heels. Okay, she's compensating a *little* bit. "Hey, boyfriend-mine." She leaned against the bar and cocked an eyebrow at him. "The usual with a generous shot of rum, if you don't mind. How are you?"

Alanna came in with Faithful. The cat wanted to get drunk.

"Don't ask," she replied, taking a very large swallow of her drink.

He grinned at her as he poured her drink. "Better now that you're an adult again. How are you feeling?"

"Embarassed. Highly amused. And no longer in need of nap, thank God." She took a sip from her drink and sighed happily, then leaned over the bar to press a soft kiss to his lips. "For being sweet to tiny Maureen, the brat."

"That good, hunh?" Parker grinned. "Sorry to hear it. We're almost done with Finals? Does that help?"

Jarod smiled at them both. "Hello Alanna, Faithful. What can I get you both this evening?"

"Not even remotely." Sam drained the glass and signaled for another one from Tino. "Finals would actually give me something new to think about."

"It couldn't have been that bad if it didn't make the radio."

He kissed her, but it might not have been quite as...enthusiastic as usual. "She was a sweetheart. And so are you."

"She demanded ice cream and talked your ear off," Parker said dryly, her eyes narrowing, watching him as she slowly took her seat. "After she and Anakin trashed Cafe Fina. Not my finest hour."

"She was happy and enthusiastic and enjoyed every single breath of air she took," Jarod corrected, "and I'm sure you made good on whatever damage you did during the food fight."

GOB walked into the bar and took a seat. "Hey, Jarod. Scotch, please?"

Sam may have muttered something that sounded like "happened this morning," into her drink.

Isabel came in wondering how Jarod was doing now that Parker was a big girl again.

"Well, yes. I think the butler was going to call the police if I didn't." Parker's eyes narrowed. "You almost sound like you liked her better than me."

No, she isn't jealous of herself. That's just pathological.

"Hi Alanna! How was your weekend?" Isabel asked with a grin.

"Ohhhhh. Uh-oh." Parker cocked her head. "But we were all adults, well, ourselves, when we woke up. Where's the problem?"

"Lemonade for me please, and milk for Faithful." "Alcohol." The cat corrected. "Milk."
