Aereopagitica: Friday [5-6]

Lana made it to work a little late. It took her awhile to find decent clothes that were still clean, so she was very glad that the whole laundry situation was going to be settled by tomorrow.

...Giles wandered downstairs, his head craned at an odd angle as he examined some sort of diagram in a book.

He tripped when he got to the bottom of the stairs but didn't notice there were no more stairs to walk down. Once righted, he seemed to remember what he'd come down for.

"Ah, Lana. I was wondering. Will you be here over the summer? Would you be interested in working?"

"Hi, Mr. Giles." Lana smiled at him. "Yes, actually, I will be staying over the summer and I'd love to continue working here. I'm not sure what my summer schedule will be yet, though."
