Cafe Fina, Sunday, Mid-morning

Alfred opened up Cafe Fina early on Sunday, against what he usually did, and placed a large sign up prominently so that everyone would know it.

He felt he somehow owed it to them for yesterday somehow being missed entirely.

Alfred found himself somewhat unnerved. Walter had not shown up to work that day, nor had he called ahead to notify him of such a problem.

All calls Alfred had made to Walter's phone had gone unanswered.

Though this was most worrying, Alfred did have a bussiness to run. He opened up Cafe Fina, resolving to call some of Walter's friends during the break.

Fortunately for Alfred, Walter's friends came looking for him that day.

"Excuse me," Pip said, walking in. "Mr. Pennyworth?"

Alfred turned to Pip, his eyes widened. "My goodness, Mssr. Bernadette, are you alright? Sit down, please. Have some water."

Pip, bruised and messed up, tried to protest, but found himself directed by means he could not see nor stop into a nearby table and a glass of ice water placed in front of him.

He, sadly, had underestimated Alfred's sneakiness.

"Now," Alfred said, returning with a First Aid kit. "What happened to you?"
Pip opened his mouth to respond, saw Wadsworth lingering a little too close, and shut his mouth, glaring at the offending butler.
Alfred turned to see what Pip was looking at, and gave Wadsworth a Look.
Wadsworth was neither foolish, nor suicidal, and scurried off to go do something else.
Alfred turned around and started treating Pip's wounds. "Continue, please."
Pip grimaced a little. "It's about Walter. And Pippi."
"I suspected as much," Alfred responded. "At least, in regards to Walter. What's wrong, are they hurt?"
"No," Pip responded. "Nadia is. Badly. And Walter and Pippi are the ones that did it to her."
Alfred's eyebrows shot up. "What?" he asked, tersely. Almost angrily, Pip thought.
"It's not them," Pip said. "They've been... possesed by something. Remember the play? How a lot of us were possesed by fairies? Well, Pippi's fairy is possessing her again. Only instead of trying to cause mischief, she's just hurting people for sport. And Walter..." Pip shook his head. "Walter's being possesed by some vampiric version of himself, with strength, speed, and abillity to take bullets to match."

Paige had only just entered, hoping to get some sort of breakfast that involved as little effort as possible.

That was went she noticed a distressed looking Pip, and headed over, "everything okay?" she asked knowing it wasn't.

Pip grimaced as Alfred rubbed iodine on one of his bruises. "No. Have you seen Pippi or Walter lately?"

She shook her head, "no but Maia said they were acting kinda weird the other day, I guess this has something to do with that right?" she asked wincing at his injuries.

"This is gonna be one of those wierd Fandom High things isn't it?"

Pip grimaced again. "Replace 'weird' with 'scary' and yes, you've got the right idea." He looked up at her seriously. "They've been possesed."
Paige winced and twitched involuntarily, "Possessed? Yeah I can see how that would be a problem. So what do you need me to do?" she asked.
Alfred answered her. "The problems, as far as I see it, are three fold. The first is discovering how to rid our friends of those that are posessing them. The second is that we have Pippi's strength to deal with, as well as Walter's speed, which has most likely been greatly enhanced, along with the rest of his abillities, now that he is possesed." He glanced up at Paige. "Pippi and Walter have been possesed by a fairy and a vampire respectively. The third problem, obviously, is that we must find a way to do this with permanently hurting them. Now, my dear, do you have any knowledge of magic or the occult or such creatures?"

"It's a shame Phale isn't still here," she said in responce to the part about riding them of the possession.

"Erm kinda yeah, not tons, but I took magic last semester and I've read a book about various magical creatures, and I'm a witch, I can transport myself to another place instantly, that might come in handy right?"

"Extremely," Alfred said. "My advice, my dear, is to sit down and have a drink on the house. When I'm finished with Mr. Bernadette, we can all head upstairs and talk a little more privately."
Paige smiled slightly, "thank you sir," she replied headed towards Wadsworth to order a drink as she tried to work out what she could do to help.

It had been two entire days and Walter still hadn't returned to the room, and neither had Pup. Walter being absent wasn't as abnormal, but usually his dog was in the room for the most part. Alphonse deemed it strange that his roommate and Pup would be out for this long. Would it be wierd to admit that he was worried?

He hadn't seen much of anyone during the weekend-- that wasn't much of a surprise, and it was mostly his fault anyway-- so Alphonse had a hard time getting any real clue about anything. Of course, there was always Café Fina; Walter worked there, and while Alphonse wasn't as familiar with Alfred, he knew him well enough to know that he'd find at least something there.

Alphonse came in and quickly noticed Pip (rather banged up looking, which didn't help any levels of worry), Alfred, and... someone he didn't know, but she was there. "I didn't come at a bad time, did I?" he asked.

"Depends on your definition of a bad time, you're not interupting anything, but yeah badness. Walter and Pippi have been possessed, I'm just trying to work out how I can help. I'm Paige by the way, don't think we've met."
"They-- They've been what?" Alphonse stared at her in disbelief. He wasn't entirely too sure how to reply to that, until he composed himself again and decided to answer to her last statement instead. "I mean-- sorry, I'm Alphonse."
"That's okay perfectly valid reaction, but yeah they've been possessed by a fairy and a vampire apparently, which is odd and bad on various levels, but I always thought fairies were good. I'm just hoping I can help some how."
Alphonse still wasn't sure how to answer to that. It made sense and at the same time, made absolutely none whatsoever. It explained where Walter went, but Pippi was gone, too? Well, not 'gone', more like 'gone off and possessed'. It really didn't sound good by the way the information had been presented to him. "I don't know a thing about magical or occult creatures, but if there's any way I could help..."
"I'm hoping that's where my knowledge can help out," she said, "I'm just waiting for them then we're going upstairs to think up a plan I guess, I'm sure you'd be welcome to come with us."
"'Them'?" Alphonse didn't know any more than Walter and Pippi being in trouble; after knowing that much, it was reassuring to know that there were others who would be able to help out. He nodded, "Of course. They're my friends, and I'll do any single thing possible to help."
She gestured towards Pip and Alfred, "Them."
Pip waved from where Alfred was treating his wounds. "Hey Al. I was just about to call you."
Alphonse turned to Pip, and again he stared. "What happened to you?"
"Picked a fight with vampire Walter," Pip responded. "Wasn't prepared to fight vampire him, though."
When he thought about it, Alphonse realized that he'd never seen normal Walter in action, so he didn't know just how well of a fighter he was; however, looking at Pip's condition, apparently he was damn good at what he did. It only left a very ill feeling in him, though. "You should have asked for help beforehand, then! I would've helped out sooner if I had known!"
"It was a rather spur of the moment thing," Pip said. "They were bashing Nadia, inquiring too heavily about my eye-patch. I suspect my temper got the better of me before I realized they were not who they appeared to be."
Alphonse sighed heavily; he really wished he had known about all this sooner, but with the way things had gone, it couldn't have happened. "Sorry," he apologized. "I'm just worried now. And wondering what to do. I don't have a clue as to where to start thinking about how this could be fixed."
Pip nodded. "I'm gonna call Molly, she's Pippi's roommate, so she should know about it. Plus, she's probably the only person around here strong enogh to go toe-to-toe with her now that Angel's gone."
"You don't mean you plan on taking Walter on again, do you?" Alphonse was beginning to fret over that idea. Because if he did? Pip was definitely going to need help. Alphonse wasn't too keen on the idea of having to go after him, possessed or not.
"If I have to?" Pip said, "Yes."
Alphonse was about to reply, however someone else had entered the café.
Be it fate, intuition, deduction or something else entirely, Tim found his way to Cafe Fina. Upon entering he saw an injured person and two non-injured people. "Uh, hi. What'd I miss?"
Alfred turned to see the young man enter the shop. The boy had... something about him that was a little off. "A possible vampire and fairy attack," Alfred said. "If, by chance, you are knowladgeable in these areas, we would appreciate your assistance. Otherwise, Wadsworth will serve you."
"Faery?" Tim perked up, eyes narrowing. "yeah I might know a bit about that. What happened?"

Gwynn had come into Cafe Fina because she had heard good thinks about it. Hearing the guy that looked like a warrior saying something about Walter, she moved closer.

"Excuse me? Something has happened to Walter and Pippi?" She looked concerned. "Walter was the first friend I made when I got here and Pippi fed me... what has happened?"

Pip was about to respond when Alfred happened to accidently hit one of his wounds. He grimaced and Alfred spoke instead.

"Walter and Pippi appear to have been posessed by a vampire and a malavolent fairy, respectively. Their friend Pip had a tussel with them and was captured, but managed to escape with along with Nadia, whom they had also captured."

Gwynn's eyes widened. Her hands flexed and she reached for weapons that were not there.

"So, Sir Peter and Came were right. Things do happen here." She looked at the man in black who must be of great importance.

"My lord, how may I help in getting them back and freed?"

Sherwood for her bow right now...

That was it! She wasn't a changeling after all. "Walter's the guy from the 1940's right? Is Nadia okay? Hi Gwynn."

Gwynn smiled at the familiar face. Though there was concern in her eyes.

"Hello, Tim. Walter is the guy from the 1940's and the one who explained to me where I was."

"Nadia's going to be alright," Pip said. "She's at the clinic. Walter and Pippi have been possesed about a vampire and a fairy. Either of you two know much about fairies or vampires?"

Gwynn straightened up and stiffened her chin proudly.

"I am Gwynn Hood of Locksley, daughter of the honorable Robin Hood. I am the only woman warrior in service to King Phillip. I can fight with a sword and with a knife. I can throw from great distances and I am second only to my father with a bow."

"Excellent," Alfred said. "I have a feeling that we will need a few warriors before the day is over."
"Then until this is over, Sir, my weapons and my skills are at your service."
"Excellent," Alfred said. "For now, why don't you sit over with Paige and Alphonse? Ask for a drink or some food, when I'm finished treating Mr. Bernadette, we'll retreat to my flat to discuss this in private."
Gwynn bowed to Alfred and then went to join the two that he had indicated.
"Holy shit, you're father's THE Robin Hood?" Tim asked. Then winced. "Sorry, bad things happening. Yeah I know a bit about the Fae." He didn't look elusive at all.
"What sort of things?" Alfred asked. "How to stop them, for example? Aside from cold iron, of course."
"I've been able to talk them down before." Tim said. "Cold Iron works yeah. They don't like things being backwards. People have warded them off by turning their jackets inside out or turning counterclockwise I think. And if she were a changeling, you boil eggshells and that gets 'em running. But I don't think that would help with possesion. Honestly I've never heard of them posessing people before."
"A lot of them possesed the students back during the school play," Alfred said. "But they left when it was over. I heard something involving a deal with a professor. I'm not sure how this one is back. Still.. you may be able to help. Why don't you go and sit with everyone else while I finish up with Pip? You can order anything you want to eat or drink. It's on the house."
Tim nodded and sat with the others. "Hi I'm Tim." he introduced himself.
Gwynnn smiled at Tim. "I never expected my first week here to be so full of activity."
"I came for the weirdness." tim said. "Supposed to help me deal with supernatural creatures. But since everyone I met was actually human I was beginning to wonder."
"I've met a few who are not human and heard we have witches and demons here, too."
"I've met one witch." Tim said. "Luna Lovegood."

Cafe Fina is open, but only Wadsworth is here to staff it.
