Jarod had been practicing his knot-tying at the desk, when a unique money making opportunity came upon him. It turned out a number of the clients were fans of being tied to chairs. He was pleased to oblige and even offered a choice of tying material and knots, although he left the spankings to the girls.

It seemed best, and made everybody happy.

"That would be waking up the girls in the cabin where Aeryn is with the singing of Ever the Same, along with his fellow Stickbug inmates. Very early. And the ducks. Must not forget the ducks. Remember how I almost killed you for that serenade in February, but I thought it was mostly funny?" Parker chuckled. "I'm guessing Aeryn wasn't amused at *all*. And when she's not amused, she bears a striking resemblance to Miho."

"Oh." There was a long pause. "Yes, that doesn't sound good."

"That doesn't make any more sense, does it?"

Parker grinned. "Sometime, I have to introduce you to Aeryn. She's heard about you anyway. Too bad she's not taking Beach."

He laughed. "Not completely, no. And I'd like to meet Aeryn. She sounds very interesting."

"She was in charge of my group on the study group vampire hunt back in February. You'd like her." Parker pushed her foot against the tree to make her hammock sway, then grinned, finally thinking of a comeback to the knot-tying remarks. "So. Pen, notebook, water, sunscreen, towel, sunglasses... what, no bathing suit? This is a nude course? Jarod!"

"It's May, Parker," he said, after a few very long minutes of quiet imagining. "Too cold for swimming. Maybe in a couple of weeks."

More chuckling. "You were totally imagining nude kayaking, weren't you?"

"Kayaks are solo, Parker. I was thinking something more...cooperative," he drawled, "like canoes."

"I think we'd need more sunscreen than usual." Parker might be in a happy zone too. "Possibly, cocoa butter."

"Mmmmmm...."

Parker finally shook herself. "Right. You're not getting paid to talk to me on the phone. Unfortunately. And what you *are* getting paid for will give me many happy thoughts later. I'll see you on Friday." A pause. "Possibly, wearing a suit. You won't know for sure until then."
