The Fourth Sin - Thursday Night

Becky was snickering softly to herself as she did evaluations for the day's class, completely oblivious to what was happening outside and on the roof.

GOB wasn't sure why he asked his next question. Maybe it was the fact that he heard what she said on the pirate's program. Maybe it was an allergy to one of the flowers in the bouquet making his brain all spinny. Maybe it was just that this was a good opening for the upcoming line.

"But do you like Chinese food? We could have it together on Saturday."

He was feeling confident now. He had Becky off-balance. Might as well push his advantage. He stepped around the desk - within stabbing range, that's how bold he was being - and pulled Becky in for a kiss.

And it hadn't been her choice. She didn't quite know what to do with this.
