Saturday Sunrise at Galactica Point
There's a soft drizzle falling, but off to the east, the sun rises clear and bright over the horizon. Gulls and sandpipers take their turns investigating the tidbits the tide has deposited, and a small chihuahua in a black Speedo is darting from tide pool to crab to bird to interesting bit of kelp.
Above the waterline, hiding from the raindrops under a rainbow umbrella, a blonde sits and watches the sunrise. The morning is cool, with the promise of humid warmth later.

In a series of hops, he teleported across town, deciding to go a new route, and add more to his memory of locations. After all, it would help him get around faster if needed.
And so it was with a cloud of black smoke, and a soft *BAMF!* He appeared just behind the blonde. He took a moment to regard her before getting ready to teleport again, and realized he knew this one.
"Fraulein Elle?" He said cautiously.

"Gooten Morgan, Kurt!" she said, German with more than a touch of Valley girl, "Vee gates?"
She blinked twice and her smile faded. "Did I say that wrong?"

"Looking out over the water at the sun, ja...it is herrlich. Gorgeous," He smiled. "You have a bit of the sun in you as well, lieblen."

She held her hand out from under the umbrella until her fingers dripped. "And the rain makes things grow because of that whole water cycle thing. I think the raindrops must be disappointed here because they only just came in off the ocean and now they're falling back into it."
no subject
"You have such a wunderbol way of looking at things," He said softly.
"Where does it come from? That insight you use? Und the outlook you have?"
no subject
She looked back out over the ocean and smilled at the sunrise, closing her eyes, "But if you concentrate on what's good and beautiful in the world, the bad things are easier to deal with because every single day brings something new and special. You know?" she asked innocently.

He got a nearly devious look on his face. "I almost wonder if zhere is such a disease, ja? People would want their doctor's to give them exposure to it."

He looked upward toward the heavens. "I can remember before my faith was shaken. When everything was bright, shining with the light of the Lord."
He gazed back at her, one hand touching her cheek. "It's like you carry that light, ja? Reminding me zhat there is a God und that He loves us all."
no subject
"I don't know about carrying any Godlight, but life's a pretty precious thing and if you don't snap it up, then you're just really wasting it. It's like if you don't grab the Chanel dress off the rack at the clearance sale, you just know some older lady with wide hips is going to take it and she won't be able to work it as well but you've lost your chance and it's never going to come again. You totally have to carpe every diem, Kurt. Do you?"
no subject
"It's funny because it almost works. Comparing life to clothes shopping."

"I used to, ja." He started. "Every day, I tried. But....shall we say that sometimes things change."
He looked back up. "But I'm always willing to learn, lieblen."

In just a tiny tank top with a picture of Rob Thomas on it and pink and blue madras shorts, she began to spin in the rain with her arms spread wide. "What do you want, Kurt?" she called as she giggled in the rain.

Kurt grinned like a mad grinning fool. "Care to experience the city in hops and leaps?"

"So, where would you like to go first, my dear?"

French with a Valley accent. At least she's consistant.

He took Elle in his arms and pulled her close. A scent of her perfume wafted across his nose, or with her? Could have been her natural fragrance.
He took a deep breath and cautioned her. "Hold on, fraulein, and don't panic."
*BAMF!*
And just like that, a moment of chilling darkness, and then on her front stoop.
no subject
"Wow, Kurt! I could do that all day! How cool...you wanna? Come on." she said, wrapping her arms around him. "Do it again. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/880101.html?thread=34794981#t34794981)"
And that's all it took.
