All and Sundries//Late Saturday Morning
Seras squinched her eyes shut as she tried to slip her key into the the door's lock.
It was cloudy outside, so why the bloody hell was the bloody sun so bloody bright?
Seras continued jabbing the key at the lock and wondered if her spilling her drink at the luau had annoyed Freyr. Her current, pounding headache did, after all, feel like vengeance on the god-type level.
The click the lock made as it finally turned over sounded echoed in her head like a gunshot right next to her ear. Seras winced and gave a small wimper as she opened the door and stepped inside.
All and Sundries is open.

"Hullo, can I help you?"

"I just need some groceries," she replied. "I can find them on my own."
no subject
"Right. If you have any trouble finding something, let me know. Baldrick's been in charge of the store for the past few days, and he's got some...interesting stocking methods."

About twenty minutes later she returned to the register, basket full of *handwavy* picnic supplies.
"I think this should be more than enough," she said, looking at the basket. "There's only two of us."

She began ringing them through.
Ouch...
"You work at Caritas, don't you?" she asked, "Or at least, I think I saw you there when we went on Thursday."

She shrugged. "Wow, your roommate's got him beat on time displacement. How's she handling the technology stuff? Oh, and I'm teaching photography."

"The 18th Century British Royal Navy? He must have some fantastic stories..."
Though, she supposed that anyone who spent any length of time in Fandom would end up with a few of those.

"From the odds and ends that I've picked up in conversations and the few things that've happened to me while I'm here, I'd have to agree," she said.

She finished with the bagging and gave Veronica the final total for her groceries.

"If you ever need anything, feel free to come find me," she said. "I'm in Flamingo cabin with the other grads right now, but I'm in room 122 in the dorms."
no subject
"Thank you," she said, handing Veronica the slip to sign and a pen.

"It was nice meeting you," she said with a grin. "I'm sure I'll see you around."
no subject
"Likewise. I hope you enjoy your outing."

Kurt made a small bow.
"Fraulein Mars, we meet again, eh?"

And with a wisp of black smoke, they moved on. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/889260.html?view=43685548#t43685548)

Praising Freyr was all well and good, but she was NEVER drinking the stuffin Pippi's hip flask again.
