Luke's Diner, Wednesday
Jude clattered through the door, bounced off a table, and zoomed into the back to sufficiently de-pudding himself before manning the front counter.
Contrary to popular belief, he's actually pretty good at this food service stuff.
Unless he slips on the pudding people keep tracking in.
But pudding? Act of God. Totally not his fault.

Oh, hell. She jumped over to catch him. "Can we look there next?"

He ducked into the back.

But now Jude was checking on his soup. He supposed he could wait a bit longer.

"Beljar." he greeted Jude. He still had the cereal bowl on his head, but the had was now empty of pudding.

He might have noticed the cereal bowl and the baseball cap. Then again, he might not have.
