Luke's Diner, Thursday
You see that piece of paper in Jude's hand, that he's occasionally scribbling on in between bouts of pensive thought? Totally not a recipe for raspberry soup. Honestly. Really.
Luke's is open for your dining and pudding-free needs.

She passes by the diner again, and, again, it isn't busy. And, again, it's being worked by someone she knows, although a different person she knows. She quickly backtracks; the kittens rush after her, thinking she was trying to escape.
"Hi, Jude!" she says brightly as she enters the diner, but then stops, looking down thoughtfully at the kittens. "Um, can I come in here with these? I can't exactly get rid of them."
Genghis, the cat on her head, lets out a long yawn and lays down, paws drooping over Sakurazaki's forehead.

"This one, by the way," she adds, pointing to the black and white kitty on her head, "is Genghis. I don't know the names of any of the others because he says it doesn't matter, because they're just insignificant pawns."

"Things are well," she says, with a careful nod, keeping Genghis on mind
lol pun. "Came into town because movement satiates their desires to attack bare legs and because I actually have to be artistic and make something for the art fair, so, yeah. I need supplies." She smiles. "I didn't know you worked here, though. I ran into Tim working here the other day, too."no subject
A wee kitty had broken away from the swarm and was trying to investigate the counter. Jude scooped it up and tucked it in the crook of his arm to keep it out of the way, absently stroking its head.

"Well, I'm not sure how it's going to turn out because, yeah, I'm not an artist, but I want to make a really cool set of posters resembling the covers of pulp samuarai novels and films." She gestures slightly with her hands as she explains, making little boxes with the thumbs and forefingers of both hands.

Another wee kity was trying the same thing. Jude scooped this one up, too, wincing a little as he got a bit of claw before getting it settled.

Genghis lets out a very annoyed mew, objecting to being called "cute." He starts batting at Sakurazaki's ponytail spikes in warning they, hey, she better watch those kittens. Social mobility still has another few hundred years to hit this kitty society.

Briefly, she wonders what she would have looked like as a baby, although she's pretty sure that cuteness would not have been a helpful factor in that situation. At all.

Sakurazaki giggles slightly at his mewing, still not understanding cat talk. "He's cute, isn't he?"

Sakurazaki, meanwhile, suddenly finds herself blushing. This would be such a perfect opprotunity, even with kitties hanging everywhere, to...but, no, she couldn't do that, could she? It would be totally inappropriate. Wouldn't it?
Oh, what the hell. Leaning in slightly to close the gap between them, Sakurazaki gives Jude a little kiss on his cheek. She settles back with a very bashful, but very pleased with herself smirk.

"So . . ."

Red faced and grinning, Sakurazaki shrugs as best she can with three kittens in her arms. Her eyes are wide in a pretty damn cute attempt to seem innocent. "So...what?" she says, the smile behind her voice making it difficult for her to sound like nothing happened.

Date number two. Hopefully.

"Sure," she says with a vibrant nod, forgetting about Genghis for a second. A series of sudden desperately clinging claws against her scalp remind her, and she quickly helps the wee kitty back to his perch. She grins, cheeks flushing. "I'd really like that."

"Awesome," he grinned, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet without dislodging any kittens. The one on his shoulder pushed his tuque down over one eye and he pushed it back up with a sheepish chuckle.
