Caritas - Open [6/8]

Veronica had a tablet in front of her and was making notes on the things she had learned during her conversations with Cameron and Willow earlier in the day and jotting down some ideas of possible places to obtain more information.

She was so distracted that she didn't notice the drummer's hand was about to fall off. Hopefully it would make it through the night.

Piper waited in the lounge for Paige. They haven't really talked in weeks and she figured some sister time was needed.

Paige walked in a few moments later, sipping a diet coke and smiling happily, seeing PIper she headed over and hugged her, "hey long time no see!" she teased.

*offers lots of brownies*

Piper smiled at her sister. "Yeah, it has been awhile. How have you been?"

Paige thought for a moment, "good, I mean I've given up on Peter, which is probably just as well since he's going out with Willow by the sounds of it, but um yeah good. So how are you enjoying teaching?" she asked sitting down.

"Yeah, sorry that didn't work out," Piper said sincerely. "The first two weeks were mostly uneventful, but some of the students nearly burned the home ec classroom down this week. I'm never giving them an assignment involving open flames again."

Paige shrugged, "no biggie, I mean he was sute and everything, but a little shy really."

She smirked at the mention of burning down the kitchen, "you really shoulda know that was gonna happen, still at least you know now right, so happened? Did you freeze it?"

"I would have frozen it if I noticed it sooner. Fortunately, there was a fire extinguisher in the room," Piper said, snickering slightly.

Paige nodded, "well sure there'd have to be with a bunch of high school students really wouldn't there? So what about everything else, how are you?"

"I'm pretty good," Piper replied truthfully. She glanced at Paige. "Just feeling a little guilty about neglecting my sisters. Sorry I haven't been around much."

"It's fine, I've not really seen Pheebes much myself, apart from in yoga class and I'm sure you're busy with your workshop." she replied grinning at her sister, "rally don't worry, I will expect an email at least once a week once you're back home though!"

"There might even be phone calls once a week. Believe me, I'm planning on checking up on both of you a lot to make sure you're staying out of trouble," Piper said with a grin.

Paige gave her a very fake offended look, "Me and Pheebes get into trouble? That would never happen!" she replied also grinning, as she remembered the fact they'd spent most of Saturday in detention together.

"You two are gonna be so lost without me," Piper joked. Then she realized what she just said. She really would be leaving her sisters soon.

Paige's smile faded just a little, "we'll be okay, and I can't speak for Pheebes but I'll see you dyring the holidays and stuff," she assured her.

"I know you'll be okay. I'm still gonna worry, though. It's what I do," Piper said. "And you better visit."

"Well sure it makes sense, since there'll just be two of us here. And you'll probably get fed up of seeing me, I'll be there all the time, since I can orb and everything!"

"Maybe I'll visit you sometimes, especially if I'm needed for any power of three reasons," Piper said.

"Hopeful those situations won't come up for a while, I'd rather you come visit for more pleasant reasons." Paige replied.

"Well, there's still a little time before we have to think about that," Piper said. "How are your workshops?"

"Pretty fun actually, the astronomy one's really amazing and the sex course, that's...bizarre actually. They seem to be going pretty well, I'm making a documentary about extreme sports, Jude's helping me out, at least I think he is, I've not spoken to him for a while."
