Lana opened the store after a night of being rather surprisingly more truthful than she'd intended. She wondered how long this whole open-mouth-say-things-you-didn't-intend was going to continue.

She ran a shaking hand over her face. "I don't know what to do. He's never trusted me at all. And all the times I asked him... I can't believe he lied to me like this."

She found a chair and collapsed into it, hiding her face in her hands. "Secrets. So many secrets. I hate them."

He tried to help her to the chair, but she got there before he'd recovered enough to do so.
"I, I imagine Clark's terrified that if you find out his secret you'll blame him for your parents' deaths." Clark said.
