Galactica Point, Friday afternoon

Walter had said he was going down to the beach to get sunburned, but really, it was just a perfect day to hang out at the beach, cool off in the water, and get some reading done - in his case the book on cryptography he'd ordered after Nadia and Pip had been fighting.

He had a book, sunscreen, a towel, and food. It sounded like an excellent start until company arrived.

[ooc: Open to all, and it's a beachy day.]

Over in a section of beach that didn't seem entirely friendly to plant growth, a bush was sunning itself.

Wearing pirate boots.

If bushes wore boots, of course.

Which they don't.

So really, nothing that interesting to look at here.

Pippi flounced down to the beach for the second time today. This time, however, she had a picnic basket and a pair of pom poms.

"Greetings!"

It's not that they're not black, it's that they're not shiny.

"I brought refreshments!" She said pulling a beach blanket out of the basket.

She totally didn't let a parchment wrapped sandwich and ice cold bottle of lemonade fall into the sand near the totally inconspicuous and OMGTOTALLYSUPPOSEDTOBETHERE shrub. Because it's not like a shrub could pick those things up and consume them, properly disposing of the bottle and the wrapper at a later time, and thus it would be littering.

"Likewise I'm sure." she says sitting down and handing a bottle to Walter.

"Whatcha reading?"

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-16 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ohhh! Sekret codes!" Pippi nodded looking the book over.

"Those are cool."

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-16 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yup!"

Pippi grabbed her pom poms and jumped up to stand in front of Walter with her back to the water.

"Take the ball and jam!
Dribble dribble slam!
"

Pippi saw neither the snicker nor the waving hand as she did a backwards flip as soon as she finished the cheer.

This may have sent a small spray of sand at Walter. It's the momentum of her hands and feet of course, not revenge for laughing at her. Really.

"Go Gremlins, go Gremlins!
No we can't be beat!"

She claps twice.

"Go Gremlins, go Gremlins!
We have poison teeth!

When they come back in from swimming Pippi towels off her hair and grabs something out of her basket.

"Hey Walter? Can I interview you for my movie?"

"It's about the animals that live on the island." she said fiddling with her camera. "For my Documentary Filmmaking workshop."

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-17 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Okay, this is Walter Dornez." she said for the camera as she lined up the shot. "Butler, Vampire Hunter, all around nice guy. Just answer the questions as if you weren't talking to me. Because I won't always be the one watching the movie... Okay, ahem... Walter, if somebody were new to our fair island, what would you tell them first about the flora and fauna?"

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-17 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
"How else might the wildlife of the island be different the from elsewhere?"

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-17 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
"What happened when you encountered the weetiny bunnies?"

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-17 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
"What kind of dance did they do?"
