The Park; Early Friday Evening.
Although they really didn't set a specific time, Sakurazaki had arrived at the park well before Jude, so she considered herself pretty early. But it wasn't as if she had anything else to do. It wasn't as if she could actually focus on anything enough to do it. Groaning slightly, Elder Konoe's chuckling over the phone reverberated in her head. If he thought her going on a date was funny, how would he react to her having a boyfriend? Her face burned just thinking about it, but not so much with anger as just some sort of very severe bashfulness.
She was being honest when she said she didn't think she'd be a very good girlfriend type. She didn't know how a girlfriend was supposed to behave. And, if she thought about it, she realized that none of her classmates back at Mahora even had boyfriends, and all those girls were so much more...girlfriend-like people. Except Misa-san. Cheerleader Misa-san. The type of girl who had boyfriends. The type of girl that Sakurazaki was not.
What the hell? She was just thinking about this way too much. It was no big deal, right? She liked Jude; Jude liked her. It was a natural progression of things. She still couldn't just stop thinking about it, though. Or the fact that it made her incredibly happy. And he'd used the Eastern form of her name when he asked! Too. Freakin'. Cute. That made her want to giggle girlishly for reasons that she almost wanted to shoot herself in the foot for.
With a sigh that wasn't sure if it was pleased or confused, she falls gently into the grass, staring up at the sky and trying to focus on whisps of clouds until he arrived.

"Nope, I don't mind. Thank you. Unless they have the white tea I suggested last time, but somehow, I doubt it."

"This isn't an accessory, it's a drink," she argues mostly because it's all she can really do when she's this flustered, but there's a smirk on her face as she takes a quick sip. "Even I'm enough of a girl to make that distinction."

"Um, Jude?" she finally manages to squeak out through her internal chaos, looking back over to him, the panic surfacing on her face as a bit of a worried expression.

"Yeah?"
Uh-oh, uh-oh, stop being so enthusiastic, calm down, she's wigging out . . .

You could take the girl out of the Shinmei Ryuu...

"Uh . . ." Jude cast around for some kind of answer. "You don't have to do anything, really," he said finally. "Just . . . be yourself. Only with goin' on dates, and snuggling, and kissing, I guess." He frowned. "But . . . you don't have to? I mean, Jonesy and Nikki don't do the snuggling thing . . ."
He shook his head, straightening himself out. "Just let me make you happy, I guess. Whatever does that."

She draws in a deep breath, nodding firmly, with a slightly eager smile. "I...I think that's managable," she accesses.
