Fast Eddie's, Thursday night

The dorms are dead, and long walk in the heat or not, it's time to get out and actually do something. Therefore it's time for a nice air conditioned bowling alley. What? It's a sport.

Jaye selects her ball not dirty, takes a seat in a lane, and waits for people to show up.

After getting her bowling shoes, Molly waved to Jaye before going to select her own ball not dirty.

"Hey," Jaye greets her. "How's it going? And what do you want your name to be on the scoring thingie?"

Molly had found a bright pink ball that actually fit her hand. She smiled at Jaye. "Things are good. I like summer. And, um, I'll go with Bruiser for the scoring thingie. How's it going with you?"

"Kind of awesome," she says, getting up to put the names into the computer thing. "Also, I warn you but I rule at this game."

No, she doesn't.

Dawn almost smacked into the ball rack not dirty when she slipped on the carpeting in her rented bowling shoes. She tried to pretend that she'd meant to do that. "Hi!"

Hey, it'd worked for Miss Kitty Fantastico.

"Dawn, hi!" Molly called.

"I found it, yay!" She walked over very carefully, carrying a black bowling ball that was probably going to be light enough for her to use. "Thanks for telling me."

"It so quiet in the dorms today, I couldn't come and not tell you," Molly said. "I'm glad you could make it. And yay for finding it! I told you you wouldn't stay lost in this town for long."

Dawn knew this was an important question, which was why she couldn't think of anything. "Dawn's fine."

"I feel like I should give you extra letters to fill in the spaces," she says, despite the fact that her name's up there as "JAYE".

Actual Bowling!

Deciding she, Molly and Dawn can be on a team and anyone else who shows up can fend for theirselves, Jaye also decides she can go first. Ha. So she picks up her ball, walks to the line, and throws her ball down the lane.

It falls into the gutter midway through.

"I meant to do that. Warming up," she says.

"You get to go again, I think?" Dawn said, really unsure about the bowling rules.

"Right," she says. Because she totally knows how to bowl.

When her ball's come back up in the machine thingie not dirty, she tries again... and hits two pins. "I could do better. It's my first turn," she says, and sits back down. With a score of two.

"Hey, you hit two pins!" Dawn said, genuinely impressed. She walked up to the line, set the ball on the ground between her legs, and pushed with both hands. It headed promptly for the gutter.

Pool table!

Sam waved to Jaye, then made a beeline for one of the pool tables. She spent some time selecting her cue, then racked the balls not dirty and began to play.

Dean came in and started heading for bowling alleys but when he caught sight of the pool tables he changed direction without conscious decision.

Pool tables.

A slow smile spread across Dean's face.

"Hey, Dean," Sam looked up after she sank the two and caught the smile. She debated whether it would be rude to hose the new kid.

After Sam and Dean's game wrapped, Parker wandered over, idly turning a pool cue in her hands. "Up for another game?"

"Sure, why not?" Dean said with a grin, chalking up his cue stick. "Been a while since I've got to play, might as well take advantage of the opportunity."
