Peter ran down to the Perk following his workshop. Entering the Perk, he bowed to Willow. "Good afternoon, Lady. How goes it?"

Willow gave a seated curtsey. "Very well, thank you. And you, Sir Peter?"

"Much better now," he said with a wink. "You look exceedingly pretty today."

Willow blushed. "Thank you. I decided not to let yesterday's mishaps affect me. I'm getting back on that horse and riding again!"

"Good on you," Peter replied. "You can't let getting thrown...err...throw you."

"I try," Willow said. She motioned for him to take a seat. "Chicken soup today? With something to drink?"

"Chicken soup definitely," Peter agreed as he sat down next to Willow. "And lemonade. It shall be a very yellow day foodwise."

"I'll be right back," Willow said. She got up to take care of all things order-related. Thanks to her efforts, once she returned they were now able to lunch on soup, lemonade, ginger ale, and cookies. "There. Don't tell, but I may have snuck some of that in."

"I'll not tell a soul," Peter whispered. "But however did you manage to bring chicken soup down without spilling it?"

Willow grinned. "I can't tell you all my secrets now, can I?"

The cookies may have also looked a familiar chocolate chip.

Peter grinned back and sneaked a cookie. "I wouldn't tell anybody. Very safe repository for secrets, I am. Like the Tower of London."

"Oh, see, that's no good," Willow said. "I know about the Tower. It's not a well kept secret."

"No, but do you know what's inside it? Like the Little Princes who died, the secret would never be found," Peter explained.

"Well, I assumed a tower," Willow said. "Otherwise the British have very odd naming conventions. And, okay, very sad for the princes but is it a secret if people know they died?"

Peter laughed. "Where their bodies are is the secret I suppose? They went into the Tower and never came out. Haven't you ever heard the story about how wicked Richard of York tried to steal the throne? Or read Shakespeare's Richard III?"

"That I do know," Willow said. She snuck a cookie for herself. "So do you know where they are? Do you get to find out as a part of the job?"

"We're not exactly on diplomatic relations with England," Peter said, trying his soup. "England's not in the same...world really as the other one."

"That seems unfair," Willow said. "It's like you put in all the work but don't get any of the rewards when traveling."

"We do. Just not in this world," Peter explained. He grinned. "Visits of state only end up being on the extreme end of the spectrum. Either very enjoyable or as boring as doing geometry."

"Some of us like doing geometry," Willow pointed out.

"Do you really?" Peter asked. "We'd just started the term before I left school. I didn't find it much fun. But then I may have been focusing a bit on aeroplanes instead..."

"Airplanes fly thanks to things like geometry and physics," Willow said. She moved her spoon through the air like it was flying. "Plus geometry is like solving puzzles!"

"We'd not got to the puzzle-solving part. Just the part where one has to solve proof after proof to prove something that one really doesn't care about at all." He grinned, unrepentantly. "You shan't hold it against me, shall you?"

"I liked doing proofs!" Willow said. "But no, I won't hold it against you. I may, however, tell my mom about it for the next time she does a study about boys vs. girls in math and science classes."
