The Junkyard; Thursday Morning.
Sakurazaki had arrived at the Junkyard a little early, as she prone to do. Still, she was extremely grateful that the weather cleared up a little to allow for this to happen successfully. As she waited, camcorder in hand and lifted to her eye, she swiftly bounced from one pile of junk to the next, moving around them, behind them, on top of them, playing around with all sorts of angles and shots. And probably getting a little too into it, as she wasn't particularly paying attention to anything else.

He greeted her as he shook out his hands and looked over the new crop of junk to cut up. "Good morning, Sakurazaki."

He started in on some stretches for his arms and shoulders, still trying to determine how to give her the best demonstration of his skills. Start small and work up seemed reasonable.

Walter finished stretching and chose his first target, a piece of rusted stovepipe, sticking out of the mass.
"I'm ready when you are."

This was just a workout with a zone he had to ensure stayed clear. He nodded to himself and started to work.
The stovepipe was an easy target. He wrapped a wire around its top to hold it while another severed it from its base. Then a tug on the wire holding it pulled the piece of pipe into the air, where he was able to turn it into metallic confetti with another flick of his fingers.

As with the stovepipe, he caught the three drawers with a net of wire to shred them. Unlike the stovepipe, he directed the trajectory of the debris to send it flying toward himself.
He stepped aside from the majority of the debris, dodging with an inhuman speed, but he also caught a few pieces out of the air with deliberate wire flicks, ending with the three drawer handles in his hand before he dropped them to the ground.

He selected the front end of a cadillac that was sticking out of the middle of a pile of crushed cars, about ten feet off the ground. He grinned as he wrapped wire around it and pulled, sending the hood, front tires, and half of the engine block falling to the ground with a gratifying crash.

Damn the circumstances of their situation. It would absolutely fascinating to go against Walter and his wires in a full spar with Yuunagi.

Well there are no convenient buildings to cut down (http://pics.livejournal.com/walter_n_wires/pic/000ytr81). *sigh*Walter could top that, but he wasn't about to show everything he could do to be recorded. That was just foolish. Instead, from there, he went on to fully dismantle another car, this from the top of the pile, combining delicate manipulation with brute force again.
He finally stopped and looked over at Sakurazaki, flushed and panting slightly.
"Good enough?"

Sakurazaki prepares herself. "Okay," she tells him, and keeps a steady focus on the approaching wire until the moment she choses is close enough, thank you, then leaps up high to get a nice downward shot of it passing underneath her. She lands a few inches to the left to follow it's progress past the spot.

"Anything else?"

[[mine's being annoying, too, and work in a bit anyway, so that works. :)]]

Not interview protocol, but still...

She decides she better stick pretty rigerously to her list. "I suppose the first and foremost question, then, would be: how did you come to use such a unique weapon?"

"The wire is housed inside the rings." He pointed to a tiny hole on the palm side of a ring. "Depending upon how it's situated, the wire will either feed out this hole, or be retracted." He held up his hand and wiggled his fingers, no wire showing. "Or not do anything at all."

She kind of forgets to ask another question.

"Did you have any more questions?"

"Care to share any interesting philophies you might have on fighting or training?" Kind of lame, sure. But she needed whatever footage she could get.
