The Fourth Sin - Saturday Morning

With Miho gone, Becky actually felt a need to rise before midafternoon.

So when noon rolled around, she was in the lobby, sorting through their accounts and trying to remember all the math she'd learned before dropping out her sophomore year of high school.

[Here for someone in particular who wanted to talk to Becky, but open to all customers/Sin residents/etc. Am on SP until probably about 6 EST, unless my plans change, whee.]

"You're not in my workshop," Becky noted.

And then paused. "You're not, right? I only have the one girl with the way-too-bright hair in there."

"Oh, no," Willow said. "But I needed some help and thought I'd come to an expert. I'm Willow."

"Hi," Becky said, perching on the desk and sighing. "What kind of help? Depending on what it is, I might have to charge or refer you to one of the ladies."

"Information? I guess?" Willow said. "Maybe advice? And has anybody ever told you you look a lot like Rory?"

"Nope, never heard that before," Becky deadpanned. "What kind of advice or info?"

And here's where Willow tended to run out of vocabularly.

"I've - um - got this friend? And she's wondering if... certain... things... can be reversed?"

Becky sighed. "Yes, honey, of course, as long as everything still fits where it should, the girl can be reversed, the guy can be reversed, or they both can, or if there are two girls or two guys, same deal. There're helpful diagrams available on the internet thingy, I think."

Willow looked interested. "Really? I mean - um. Useful, but not exactly what I meant. See my friend... Michelle... she had this boyfriend? And then she didn't have this boyfriend? And now she's got this boy who is more than a friend and she's wondering if maybe she accidentally redid things that were undone."

Becky blinked. "You lost me, sweetie. This...friend of yours had a boyfriend, dumped the loser, has a new thing going on, and...something was undone but now it might not be?"

"Actually he dumped her but... um." Willow frowned. "There was time travel involved? Sort of? So where once she was with him now it's before she was with him and she doesn't know how much it counts. You know. For the new guy."

Becky shook her head, staring at Willow. "So this...friend of yours had sex, time-traveled, presumably backwards in time, and is now wondering if she's pure as snow again?"

"Yes!" Willow said, pointing at her. "That one! Exactly!"

"I guess that depends on a couple things. Physically, the hymen's usually broken during first-time sex for a lot of girls, so if that's okay, then physically speaking she's a virgin again," Becky replied. "Does this friend of yours who is definitely not actually you have memories of all the sexing and so on?"

"Well, not that I asked but..." Willow was blushing and clearing her throat a lot. "Um. I think so?"

Becky smiled. "Then she probably ought to tell her new guy, since physically she might be as virginal as can be, but mentally, not so much. Personally, I wouldn't tell him. But if that's what's in question for her, then that's the answer."

"You know, this was so much easier the first time," Willow said. "Um - I mean for her."

"Right," Becky said, rolling her eyes. "I forgot some girls think it's a big deal. Me, I lost mine for fifty bucks in the back of a warehouse, but apparently it's a whole big thing. Don't really see why. It's just sex."

"Well, because she likes the new guy, and he's nice, and honorable," Willow said. Then, softer but still loud enough for Becky to hear, added, "Also she's not totally sure if he's saving himself for marriage..."

"So...she should ask," Becky said as though it were the most obvious thing ever. "Or follow through on the whole 'actions speak louder than words' thing and just jump him. See how he reacts. Most guys? Not going to object to a cute girl throwing herself their way."

"But asking involves talking!" Willow said, looking panicked. "And not asking involves rain and cabins and him looking really good in a wet shirt which normally would not be a big deal except, again, for the noble and honorable thing and how he might actually get forbidden from hanging out with somebody who's a big ol' ho. No offense."

"Why would I be offended?" Becky asked, puzzled. "Okay, is this guy like, a monk or something?"

She paused. "Is it the tall guy with the weird hair and the robe? He told me he's kind of like a monk."

"Anakin?" Willow guessed. "No. Not him. Um. But somebody like him. With, um, job requirements. I think. You know, like chivalry?"

"Is chastity a requirement?" Becky asked, inspecting her nails. "Chivalry's one thing. Not being allowed to do the deed is another."

"I don't know," Willow admitted. "I don't remember hearing about it before, but on the other hand when I - um - my friend asked if he had a kid he said no 'cause he's not married yet. Which could imply things."

"Maybe he just doesn't want kids until he's settled down."

Becky looked thoroughly disgusted by both the ideas of children and marriage.
