Becky was behind the desk, back to being mostly monochromatic and definitely not pouting about any missed girlkissing the night before.

She might have been checking the schedule to see when all the girls were working and she could arrange for a certain private party, however.

"What?" GOB asked, startled. "God, no! I was just setting the mood!"

"Since when do you try to set a mood?" Becky asked skeptically.

"Since tonight," GOB said, stroking her hand again. "Because it's different for no calendar-related reason."

Technically, it was another lie. It's just that most of the moods he tried to set with Becky were moods of confusion or anger. He was just trying something different tonight.

"Is there a reason it's different?"

Becky was just a tiny, tiny bit suspicious of the sudden bout of attentiveness.

Probably with good reason, really, all things considered.

"Come on!" GOB cried. "Because my hand is better after almost a month? Because there's a full moon? Who cares, it's different. Be seduced already!"

"This is me, seduced," Becky said flatly. "Were you expecting something more seduced-looking? 'Cause I could do that."

"After all of that attempted mood setting, sure, I'd appreciate something a little more obvious with fewer questions about what it is I'm trying to do," GOB said.

With a smirk, Becky moved out of her seat and perched sideways in his lap, draping her arms around his neck before giving him a kiss.

"This is me, actually acting seduced," she told him after a moment.

"This is definitely the kind of mood I was trying to set," GOB said. He ran the previously injured hand through her hair as he pulled her in for another kiss.

"Want to carry me up, to go with the whole seduction theme?" Becky suggested a bit breathlessly when she pulled away from the second kiss. "Or is your hand still kinda bad?"

"Oh, you'll see how bad the hand can be," GOB said, standing up with her in his arms. "And this is why it's helpful to not be drunk this time. We don't want to fall over thanks to tipsiness."

"I should be barefoot the next time we're drunk," Becky decided. "I always trip over my heels. Or else you can just carry me, as this does not suck."

"No, it doesn't," GOB said, starting up the stairs. He gave her a smug look. "See? I told you tonight was different. This is all just part of that."

"You look smug. Stop it. It's not attractive," she told him.

And then, because she was bored and the stairs were taking too long, she bit his ear.

In a sexy way. Not, like, a Gail way.

GOB almost stumbled up the top step as a result. He didn't fall or drop Becky, but he almost did both. "That's dangerous to do on the stairs," he said, walking more steadily to her door.

"I like being dangerous," she told him, reaching a hand down to open the door. "It adds excitement to things."

"That's a big shock," GOB snarked as he carried Becky into the room. He made sure to close the door with his foot before carrying her to the bed and putting her down on it.

"Have anything dangerous in mind right now?"

"A few things," Becky told him, moving closer before everything faded abruptly to a dark mauve that deepened eventually into black. Just for variety.
