Tim absolutely was on time for his last day at Luke's. No OCD, just Tim ready to serve you. Not like that you pervs. Come eat, or say goodbye, or, y'know, whatever.

Lana stopped in in the afternoon. "So, what's this about you leaving?"

Tim looked up from his being way too emo about never wiping this counter again, glad to see her.

"Lana, hey." he sighed. "Yeah, I, well for a lot of reasons, I have to go back to New York."

and I just realized this, but if you look at Tim's picture here, it really looks like he's been crying.

"I just..." Lana shook her head and looked down. "I just hate to see you go."

Tim had come prepared with stuff in case he ran into the people he'd been looking for. "Well, before I go, here's something to remember me by." He reached into his backpack and pulled out one of the plastic bottles. "Elven Wine." he said smiling. "Garunteed temporary emo cure."

Lana took the bottle and looked at it carefully. "Oh," she said. "We were supposed to drink this together. I'm sorry we won't get the chance. But... are you sure you want me to have it?"

"I'm giving some to all my friends." Tim said. "If you don't drink, no problem, I'm told it never spoils, you can just put it on a shelf to look at it or something." he smiled. "I wanted to leave people with something uniquely Tim."

She managed a smile for him. "It certainly is that," she said quietly. "I'll try some and save some to remember you by."

"It tastes good, is decently potent, makes you a happy drunk, no matter how bad you're feeling when you drink it, and doesn't have much in the way of day after effects. I've heard. i haven't actually had enough to get drunk."

"Well, maybe I'll drop you a line after I've tried it and let you know," Lana said with an attempt at brightness.

"I'd like that. My number's written on the bottle." Yeah it was totally there on all of them even though mun only just thought of it

"Okay then. It's a deal," Lana said with a smile.

"It was really great to meet you Lana." tim said. and I hope you get yourself a boyfriend who doesn't turn out to be evil.

"It was good meeting you, too, Tim," Lana said. "I just wish I'd had more time to get to know you better."

"Well... Good luck. And stay in touch." Lana hesitated, biting her lip a little. "I'd better go." Before I start to cry, she thought.

"Okay." Tim said. "Thanks for stopping by."

Conner stopped by Luke's sometime in the afternoon. He was a little bit hungry, sure, but he had other things in mind.

"Hey, man," he said. "So you're really leaving, huh?"

"Fraid so." Tim said. "School's starting again and there's this whole sacred oath/duty thing I've got to take care of."

"I totally understand that," Conner agreed with a nod. "Back to New York, huh? I know I haven't been the most fun roommate ever since I haven't exactly been around much, but still, I'm gonna be sorry to see you go."

"Thanks man. And don't worry about it. I enjoyed having my own room." he smirked.

Conner laughed, a little embarrassed. "Well, glad to give you that, I guess. You really can't stay?"

Tim sighed and shook his head. "If nothing else my Mom can't afford it."

"Bummer." Conner frowned. "You've had a good time here at least, right?"

"I really did."

"Well, that's good at least. If you've gotta leave a place, at least take good memories with you. That's what my friend Hayley told me before I left home, anyway. I think she's right. Good luck though, man."

"When are you leaving exactly?" Conner held his hand out. "If I don't see you before then, take care of yourself, okay?"

"Monday evening." Tim said, shaking his hand. "You take care of yourself too." Tim said.

"Do my best. Hopefully I'll see you before then." Conner shook Tim's hand firmly and clapped him on the shoulder. "If not, well, it's been a good summer."
