33 Apocalypse Avenue
Logan had come into town early, leaving the hired car on the mainland and walking over the causeway with his one bag. He was very very glad he'd arranged for the rest of his things to be brought in before he got there, seeing as how there hadn't exactly been a welcome party waiting.
A while later, he'd met with the realtor, been handed his keys, and then she'd babbled some warning about gremlins and mute people before taking off. Gremlins?
He was loving the house so far; big enough for his wheelchair, as well as having the lift out front attached to the porch, and bright and sunny inside with a little garden in the back.
Since he had noticed some people trailing in as he'd been unpacking a little, Logan found one of the old For Sale signs in the closet of the house, turned it around and wrote "Rooms For Rent: See Logan Cale" in big black letters. He stapled it to a length of wood and walked down the porch stairs to post it.
So, with a glass of iced tea in hand, Logan took a seat on the porch to enjoy the warmth and the quiet.

He'd just made that decision when he noticed a house with a Rooms for Rent sign out in front of it.
John walked a little up the pathway a little and regarded the man on the porch. "You Logan Cale?"

So imagine his glee when he saw a "Rooms For Rent" sign nearly as soon as he walked into town.
"Hello there, chum!" Tick called out. "I am The Tick, and I'd like to inquire about renting a room!"

This would do.
He selected a dagger and lightly tested the latch.
In the midst of this endeavor, he realized it might be polite to let those actually belonging to this household know that he was interested in borrowing their underground space. Especially considering that he had found the use of an ally much to his advantage. If that turned out to be a poor move, there were certainly other places to inhabit.
Hence, he rose and calmly walked around to the front of the house, and quirked his head around to look up on the porch. "A pleasant evening to you, sir."

Pickwick looked up from within the cage, ruffled her feathers at being moved around so much and plocked quietly.
