The Perk - Monday
After a night in a sleeping bag on the floor and scotch and tequilla mixed Wilson was in need of a shower and coffee.
The shower was taken care of at the apartment but in his small buying spree yesterday, he'd neglected to pick up a coffee pot or...well...coffee. Rubbing his hand over his face, he grabbed his wallet and the notepad where he was working on his lesson plans and headed on out the door.
He was quite pleased to find The Perk still open and busy as ever, the scent of freshly brewed coffee and perhaps even a scone, luring him straight to it's doors.
Aaahhh, coffee!
[ooc: Open for all your Monday morning coffee needs!]

Wilson at the Perk
Finding himself a comfortable arm chair near the window, Wilson parked himself and took his first blessed sip of coffee.
"Aaahhhh." Ambrosia.
Now, lesson plans. He was going to work on lesson plans, though he was always easy to interupt.
Re: Wilson at the Perk
He stood in line for two large cups of black coffee and a breakfast burrito and looked around, spotting Wilson.
"Mind if I join you?"

"Not at all, please have a seat Reverend. How are you this morning?"

A smile, always invited a smile in return and his was warm and friendly, though she looked like she was settling in to work and he didn't want to disturb her.

So he entered, ordered a cup of tea, two lumps and no sugar (baffling the poor clerk), and then sat down at a table with a friendly, inviting smile.

Wilson, at least, was moved to return it with a friendly, boyish grin of his own.

"Hello there," he said. "New to town, or have I just not had the pleasure of meeting you yet?"

After she paid for her black coffee and bear claw, she went to sit at a table near the window and watch the people go by. She liked watching people. Granted, usually they weren't aware they were being watched, but this was nice, too.

The variety of coffees and teas she found there was boggling -- especially after going so long without. Idly, she wondered just how different the taste would be, given the similarities in aroma. Curiosity finally won out and she made her way to the counter. There -- after considerable discussion with the attendant -- she ordered a "grande vanilla latte," whatever that was. It simply sounded good.
Collecting her drink, she made her way to a table and sat, sipping and watching.
[Mun will be intermittently at the computer until 7-ish, after which, it's open season.]

So far, it was all quieter than she'd expected, but still fascinating.
