Aereopagitica: Wednesday [9-6]

Lana made it into work on time and opened up the store. She had her textbook from Dr. Wilson's class with her so she could read it during her down time.

"Pretty good. I'm actually looking for a book."
She smiled.
"I'm not exactly sure what I want but something that can help me catch up all the cultural stuf that's goign over my head. any ideas?"

"Cultural stuff. Wow." Lana thought for a moment. "Um... Magazines might be your best bet." She led to a section with magazines and also pointed out some other things that might be useful.

Lavender started to browse the magazines. "I'll definitely grab some of these magazines." She browsed the books. She leafed through it.

"I think I'm all set." she said setting her choices down on the counter. "I've never had this much free time before. I'm used to taking more than twice as many classes. At Hogwarts it never ocurred ot me to read stuff outside of class." She giggled to think what Parvarti would say if she saw Lavender now.

"Really?" Lana asked, thinking of how tough it would be to take ten or more classes. "That's a lot. But it's good that you're reading. Reading is such a wonderful thing!"

Lavender laughed. "You sound like Hermione. She always had at least three books this thick" she holds her fingers a few inches apart "next to her bed. And she took even more classes than I did. Last year I took like nine classes and I think she took 13. Somehting obscene."

"Wow." Lana looked impressed. "I'm happy with my five for now."

She grinned. "And I have to tell you. If your Hermione was anything like the one here... my free time reading is much lighter - in pretty much all definitions of the word!"

"There's a new resident, we weren't exactly introduced, who was dressed all in black with a helmet and a cape when I met him. Just be carefull. Maybe it was the trip, but he seemed rather irritable, and he has some kind of super powers."
