John opens the shop and goes back into the work area.

THere's a lot of noise. It's difficult to tell if it's someone working on something or someone venting a lot of anger.

The "Help Wanted" sign is still in the window and Emo and Goth are putting on a Drama-y version of Romeo and Juliet on the counter.

Because of much ranma-mun insisting The twins wander by Sparky Repairs, the "Help Wanted" sign catching their notice, along with the strange display that was going on on the counter. They push open the door and peek in. "Hello?" Their voices are amplified by the double-speak, but still hard to hear against all the noise.

There is a muffled sound from the next room. It may be the sound of an angsty shot of "WHAT?!" followed by muttered swear words, but that wouldn't be proper.

John emerged from the back with grimy hands and dirt on his face.

"Uh, hello?" He straightened up and got more businesslike. "Welcome to SParky Repairs. How can I help you?"

They smirked at his appearance. "We saw the 'help wanted' sign up so.... we came in to check it out." Hikaru crossed his arms over his chest, trying not to touch anything.

"Do either of you have repair experience? Cashier?"

They had experience in lying.
"Yes to cashier. Minimal in repairs." Hikaru nodded, trying to sound convincing.

"Okay, then. Uh," He reached under the counter,"take this hair dryer and fixit."

The twins had not anticipated this, but since they had gotten in this far, they decided to fake it. Kaoru happened to have something akin to a palm-pilot on his person, so when they took the dryer and turned to look at it, Kaoru slipped the device into his sight-out of john's- and quickly looked up "how to fix a dryer" on the internet.

John dissapeared in the back of the shop for about 20 minutes.

He came back out, expectant. "So how is it?"

They had managed to somehow open the device up and sort-of figure out what was wrong, using the internet for the rest of the job. "Uh, super." Hikaru was tinkering with a few last things before putting the dryer body back on.

"'Super' as in 'it's almost done' or 'super' as in 'it's fixed, and now it has LO HI STUN settings'?" John smirked.

"Done." Hikaru nodded, mostly sure. "Test run?" Kaoru smirked, thinking that they were in the clear, that is, until they turned it on.
Did the dryer just spit fire?

"I think that I was joking about the 'stun' setting. I was looking for a fixed toaster, not a portable s'more maker slash hot dog roaster. Wow." He smirks more.

"This was...completely on purpose of course..." Hikaru almost dropped the dryer, but remembered that it was supposed to be fixed not more...broken...

"Sure. Wanna try it again?" He stands off to one side, applying medical tape to fingers.

Kaoru rubs his temples, realizing where they went wrong. "Yea." He takes the dryer this time and fixes the part of the heating that was producing the fire.

"Alright. Fire it up."
"NOT LITERALLY."

Kaoru turns it on, and as it should, it blows warm air. "No worries this time."

"Good." He pulls the plug on the hair dryer and it winds down.

"Here's the thing: either you work separate days or you share a paycheck, cuz I'm not gonna pay the both of yas to work the same shift. So. Righty. Lefty. What's your schedules like?"

"I've got class on monday at 3-3:50 and then 10-2 on tuesdays." Kaoru averages the times together. "And I've got same on tuesdays, and thursdays from 9-9:50." Hikaru nods. "Otherwise nothing else."
