The Park, Wednesday Afternoon/Evening
Aziraphale was mopey because his mun was having a bad bad day. The ducks had all but left town, gone to warmer climes for the winter. That seemed wrong, somehow...a duck pond without ducks. It was like a high school without gremlins. And Wilson was locked up in their study (not literally omg), furiously trying to finish the materials for his article and get his lesson ready for the next day.
So the angel went down to the sadly-duck-lacking park, took a seat on his favorite bench, and moped. He even considered going and getting drunk. Not because he had any reason to go and get drunk, but because it seemed like the sort of thing one did when one was mopey.
[ooc: Open to poke at the mopey angel, or for any other non-angel-related park matters.]

Poke the Mopey Angel
Re: Poke the Mopey Angel
So they started tossing acorns.
As one does, when one is a squirrel.
Re: Poke the Mopey Angel
"Here now, am I sitting in your seat? Or, er...were you hoping for biscuits?"
Re: Poke the Mopey Angel
The most literate of them scrawled out "chEre Up!" on a piece of his notebook paper and held it up.
The most literate squirrel wasn't that literate.
Re: Poke the Mopey Angel
Although usually when THEY wanted him to cheer up, they just sent Metatron down to nag him. So maybe it was just the squirrels.
"I, er...yes, quite. I'll do that, thank you. Would you like a scone?"
Seemed rude not to offer, what with the cheering up attempt and all.

He headed down to the duck pond, remembering it as the angel's favorite spot, and was pleased to see he'd made a good call on that.
"Hi, Mister Phale."
Re: Poke the Mopey Angel
"Hello, Mr Anders. Would you like to join me for a bit? I'm afraid I didn't bring any tea with me, but I can summon some up if you'd like a cup."

Aziraphale noticed the fidgetyness, and tilted his head at the young man. "You seem a bit troubled today. Is there anything I can do to help?"
Re: Poke the Mopey Angel
Re: Poke the Mopey Angel
Aziraphale actually sat up a little straighter, feeling a bit better now that he had a problem that needed solving.

He noticed Mr. Aziraphale and headed in his direction.

"Good day, Mr Kessler."

He felt a little sheepish about admitting it, but nodded. "Er...well, a bit, yes. A little out of sorts today, I suppose. I'm quite sure it will pass."

Meeting John Connor

Re: Meeting John Connor
He was right. He waved as he approached his Prophesy professor.
Re: Meeting John Connor
"Have a seat, my dear, and do take care to look not unhappy. The squirrels seem to be on cheerful patrol today."
Re: Meeting John Connor
Re: Meeting John Connor
He gestured toward the bench. "Sit and drink some tea, and tell me about what you've been doing while I was away. This is absolutely an unofficial sort of visit, so try not to think of me as either an angel or a professor. Just a friend."
