Luke's Diner, Thursday

Thinking about old girlfriends often led to thinking about current girlfriends - well, current girlfriend singular because he only had one. Which was all he needed, after all.

And thinking about current girlfriend led to thinking about current girlfriend being in China for the weekend with best friend, not being him but being a him.

Which all led to a pretty bummed Jude refilled napkin dispensers.

Luke's is open.

This would be a ninja being conscious (and adding it to her checklist of conscious ninja-habits for Alianne-sensei) of expertly sneaking into the diner and planting a kiss on her seemingly napkin-distracted boyfriend. "Working hard, I see," she said.

Sakurazaki smiled back, lightly. "Wasn't too ninja for you just then, was I? But it has been a while, and the opprotunity was too good to pass up."

"So," Sakurazaki said, her look becoming a little more serious, eyes dancing over his face thoughtfully. "When're you out today? And will you be able to spend the rest of your time today with me before I disappear until Sunday?"

"Yeah?" Sakurazaki brightened significantly, wondering with a faint blush if Jude realied that as long as she wanted would mean until she had to get up for her Friday morning classes. "You want to meet me later at the park, then, when you get out? I'll be around town. Yuuko wants me to pick up some things for the shop while I'm over there, so I've gotta stop in and handwavily see her about the details."

"Good," Sakurazaki took his hand lightly as she leaned in to give him another quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you, then." She kept the hand a little, trailing her arm behind her as she moved to leave, but at the point where she would have let go, she instead help on tighter, giving him a light pull toward her. Really, thankfully, a light pull was all that would be needed and she didn't want to turn what she hoped would be a rather romantic gesture into accidently pulling his arm out of its socket. But she pulled him in for much less quick kiss on the lips.

But not too less quick, because he was supposed to be working, not kissing his girlfriend. She pulled away with a blush and a grin, another lingering hand for a moment. "Bye..." she said bashfully before ducking out the door.
