Our Lady of Fandom; Monday [ 09/25 ]
Whistling slightly, Sister Rosette sat in the confessional today with the gun case, cleaning out her guns. They hadn't been getting much use around here lately, sure, but tht was all the more reason to make sure they were being maintained properly. And she figured the privacy of the confessional was a good spot to do it, as the little old ladies might not react well if she just sat in a pew and worked on them.
Chrono went about the usual cleaning tasks, ready to direct anyone to the nun should they need her.

"How the hell did you get past Chrono?" she balked at the girl once she'd gotten her composure together. "People are supposed to go to the other side of the confessional, not this one. This is nuns and priests only, little missie." Rosette idly shook the pistol at River, then realized what she was doing, and quickly stopped, chuckling nervously as she set it back in the gun's case.

She turned to River with a serious look on her face. "Now, are you here to make a confession, River? Although, you know, me knowing it's you defeats the whole way the system works. It's supposed to be anonymous."

Eyes fixed on the votives, she moved forward and knelt at the altar. She then withdrew a small, rolled piece of parchment. She swallowed hard, then watched as the flame danced closer to it, held over a candle.

"Lords of Kobol, hear my prayer," she said quietly. Her gaze drifted to the paper that was now consumed and quickly becoming ash. A wistful smile played across her lips. "So say we all."
