Our Lady of Fandom; Tuesday [ 09/26 ]
Rosette must have hit her head sometime yesterday or that morning or something because she was feeling the strange desire to be productive. Or, at the very least, organized, and she sat in a pew with a clipboard and a pen, trying to work out some sort of schedual. She was warming up to the idea of a regular routine around the church, especially since it had started to get a little bit of traffic, even if that traffic was minimal and mostly unimportant.
She'd slated Mondays for Confessional/Gun Cleaning, because that worked so well yesterday. She figured she should have a regular, structured service on Sundays, although was reluctant to be conclusive about it because Sundays were brunch, and she'd hate to miss that. She was drawing blanks on how to fill the rest of the week; Wednesdays would be cleaning days, she figured, mostly because she didn't want to do it today. And some day had to search for treasure in the graveyard day, but, again, wasn't sure which.
She tapped her pen idly on her chin as she though.

"Who's this temple for anyways?" he asked no one in particular.

"Uhhhh, no one in particular," she said, raising her head. She started pointing her pen around the various different areas about the church. "Up there's all the God and Jesus stuff, we've got Buddha over there and an that Hindu elephant guy over there. Various other alters in the other copses for this, that, and the other. Pretty much you name 'im, you got 'im."
She grinning proudly at the young man with a nod. "We're an interfaith church here. But I specialize in all the Christian stuff, so if you need something else, I'm afraid I won't be able to help you, but Chrono might."

But now she was thinking about it, and was getting excited. She turned in the pew, shifting, so that she leaned on the back of it, addressing him with a wild fire in her eyes as she pictured it and babbled to him. "But maybe when the Christians and Jews were all 'Our God can totally kick your gods' asses,' the other gods were all, 'Okay, whatever, we don't want any trouble.' And they back down. But, really, what they're doing is building up a secret underground force and are waiting for the right time to show up and proclaim, 'Who's the bigger gods now, God?' and then the monotheism will shriek out 'eek! oh no! How can I-slash-we who are all seeing not have seen this coming!' and step back, while Zues and Thor and Venus and who have you all come back and they're the popular kids again, until the Christians come back, and the whooooole thing repeats itself."
Rosette really got into her stories sometimes.

She smiled at him, having enjoyed the conversation thus far. "So, what's your name?" she asked. "And can I help you with anything in particularly, or are you just checkin' the place out?"

Which was especially useless, since he decided to pray to Zeus. Who was kinda dead.
