Cafe Fina?

Cafe Fina was not open for lunch today.

The entire kitchen staff was sitting around talking about how terrible things are and how they're all incredibly useless and how they're dreams have all failed since they're working in a restraunt in a small town in the middle of Virginia.

Fortunately, Alfred was highly skilled in the art of dealing with the ludicrously emo. He had LOOOOOOOOOOOTS of experience with it.

He works for Batman, after all.

He'll have them up and running for dinner.

It takes a special touch to get people out of emo like that.

And tea. Gallons and gallons of tea. Enough tea to drown a yak.

LOOOOOOT of tea.

At some point during the dinner hours, there was a phone call, asking to talk to the owner.

"Cafe Fina, this is Alfred Pennyworth speaking."

"Good evening, Mr. Pennyworth." Even while emo, it always paid to be polite. "I was calling to see if I could set up a reservation for this Friday?"

"Of course," Alfred said. "Dinner or lunch?"

"Dinner please, sort of a romantic for two thing." Wilson fought back the sudden concern that maybe Phale would OMGHATEIT...damn emo.

"Uh, candlelight and could you do a high end sushi and shashimi spread? With sake?"

"Quite easily," Alfred said. Assuming I can wrestle the katana away from Hirohito-san he thought. "What name shall I put it under and when should I expect you to show up?"

"Put it under, Wilson and for ~~two hours before the Homecoming Dance, which time I do not know yet.~~."

Wilson was smiling, two hours would give them enough time to enjoy a nice meal.

"Oh and, spare no expense, would you like my credit card for a security deposit?"

Alfred scratched the name down in his ledger. "I'll see about reserving one of the private dining rooms. In which case we would prefer a security deposit of some sort."

"That would be absolutely wonderful." Wilson said in response to the idea about one of the private dinning rooms and after a bit of phone juggling as he tried to hold the phone with his shoulder so he could get his wallet with the same hand, Wilson had one of his credit cards, which he carefully read off the numbers and expiration date.

"Will that cover it, Mr. Pennyworth?"

"It will Mr. Wilson," Alfred replied. "Is there anything specific I should keep in mind whilst I am preparing?"

Pursing his lips thoughtfully, Wilson nodded, though of course Alfred couldn't see that through the phone.

"Both my date and I are ah, what you might call experienced sushi eaters so don't hesitate to use some of the more 'aquired' taste delicacies if they are available and also, Aziraphale is very fond of Gravlax. I know, not sushi but if that gives you an idea of the tastes he enjoys?"

Alfred made a note on his pad. "I believe I have met Mr. Azirphale, that does give me an idea of what to do. Is there anything else?"

"No, no...I think that will be all, feel free to improvise as you feel the need, Mr. Pennyworth. Thank you."

"Of course, Mr. Wilson. We look forward to having you here."

Wadsworth is there to be modded, but is moping about how he's barely managed to blackmail anyone since he got here. He feels he's losing his touch and will never get it back.

TEA!

That's all anybody needs.

Cup of tea.
